Kiddies here now we are of to cafe/fish and chip shop in a while for tea. they want a knickerblockerglory (is this one word) is it icecream some toppings and cream. I remember it is sold in a tall glass. Remember from years ago but cannot remember what it is as I loved ice cream with strawberry sauce

Knickerbocker Glory rose. My mum used to make them with jelly, tinned fruit, ice-cream, cream and nuts on top.

Just a quick pop in, been really busy today. District Nurse was here this morning to see DHand then had to take him for Chest Xray.

Still no little piggies but they are on their way home from Edinburgh now so thats our duties over for now. Heading to Hartlepool to see Sister and Durham to see DD1 and family, probably back middle of the week.

Rose knickerbocker Glories bring back memories. Don't hear about them much now except at the seaside. Sound once you had found some cash you had a good shopping trip.

We might go off to coast to visit relatives tomorrow. Might be cooler there

I entered a baking competition at work for charity.. I won the area heat last week and came third in the regional final today! There is no prize.. but I did come third.. and we got to eat the cake... !

had a good shopping trip leanfun and spoiled kiddywinks again. Don't live by the sea although 40 mins would take us there. Just an old fashioned cafe/chippy that still exists here

Hon go for it:j cake is good when you can bake unlike me. I can cook and make bread ask me to bake a cake. My answer is no chance.

Morning, well done on the wins over the last few days.Well done on coming 3rd with your cake C0nfused.It's not much cooler at the coast leanfun..lol. I finally slept more than 2 hours last night as it cooled down a little.It is dull here at the moment but still warm. They have said rain but they been saying that all week and we have had passing showers but nothing much.Hope you all have a good day whatever your up to.

Indie still hot here las night but I did manage a bit more sleep. Children had a job going to sleep.
