Well done FF, you are having another good month.

Book will be good for GD rose - well done to you too.

I hate burnt toast Sylvia, well done for sticking to your guns.

Hope you had a nice sail leanfun. I love going for a sail.

Hate it when my hair gets like that indie. I have naturally wavy hair so it looks so silly. It is just warm and no more here although the sun was out for a while.

Well done on your wins Firefly and Rose.

Had a great day with my sister, met DD1, DS and three GKs in Greenwich park. We used to take our kids to play there too Indie. It was so hot. We sat under some big trees and had picnic and went to kids play area. Time went very quickly. I went back up the river with my sister and saw her home. She was very pleased with the cosmetics present I had bought her way back in Jan when there was also freebies with them.

Really tired now but it is still hot, hot hot here. Thank you for holding off with rain dance Alfie. Only had a few drops all day.

    Sun shining away here already.
Looking forward to a nice day and hope it stays nice for all the holiday makers who are here at the moment. We have a small Tattoo here at the castle in town on Saturday night and the town will be packed. We don't go ourselves anymore but always look out at the fireworks when it is finished.

Your day sounded lovely leanfun, glad you all had a nice time and the weather stayed nice.

    Wishing everyone a lucky day.

Sounds as if a lovely time was had by all leanfun! So
pleased the weather was good for you. It makes all the
difference being able to enjoy the surroundings in glorious
sunshine, smileys-sunbathing-960614.gif even if it was hot, hot, hot! :p

sylv - sorry to hear of your dreadful experience with your
toast - don't blame you for returning it if it wasn't to your
liking! However, what a bloomin' cheek of the waitress -
saying that you would have to pay again!!!! Well done
sticking to your guns - can't be doing with such rudeness
when I'm out to enjoy a meal etc. You were entitled to
    moan! :T

Afternoon, well done on the wins ff, and rose. Hope your boat trip was nice leanfun, i use to play in Greenwich park when i was a kid.Glad you got your toast replaced sylv but i would have ate it as i like my toast burnt..lol.
I came home from work with my hair plastered to my head and face, it's so hot and muggy here and we have had a quick 2 min rain cloud pass over but nothing else.

Likewise indie, I have to admit that I love burnt toast too! :D
    Hate it underdone! :p

It was the same here with the weather yesterday, quick 2
min splash of rain that was not good for man or beast and
that was it. My hair was also plastered to my head cos
it was so muggy - attractive look! :p :rotfl::rotfl:

Well, time waits for no man (or woman) :D so I had
better get my skates on and do a bit of comping etc!

Have a brilliant day all whatever you have planned - I will
    catch up later. :)

Anybody know if their local cash machines are working. Been to three this morning and they are all unavailable for use. Ended up travelling to next town where my bank is. Cashier didn,t know if they were down or not. I ask you. You would think they got some kind of warning unless it happened just as I was trying to access them.

Kiddies birthday shopping all done. GS is 9/9 and GD is 19/9. Got them both new jackets for winter. And a a book for GS so he does not think his sister has more than him. Also got them an Amazon gift card which I do for their birthdays and Christmas so that they can get something they really want. Picking them up later from school as mum is working today and they have their other gran tomorrow as she works Saturdays as well. Quite glad really as they want to go to GB sports thingy tomorrow that is in the park . The park shiels stays at when she is up this way. lol sorry again shiels I know you are in the hotel in the park' It actually used to be part of The Duke of Hamiltons estate and has a big fairground/theme park in there as well as a huge watersports centre that was used for the Commonwealth games water sports and a fab sports centre.
