I did check the wifi networks that my phone could pick up, but they were all locked. They are only moving in at the weekend, so don't know the neighbours yet.

Try BT-wifi-with- Fon. Depends where their hotspots are, but that's the one I used.

That's a point! Any bits of bodies I could stick in my garden? The police'd dig it all up, then! :D

Aha, beat me to it, although Porridge beat you to it - when Fletcher's wife wanted the garden dug he dropped a hint that the loot was hidden there, and the Plods did a lovely job for her ;)

It is definitely windy out there this morning.

Not particularly windy here, but it is rather fresh. When I looked out this morning I found that Black Combe and White Combe, my closest fells, are both the same colour ;)

We don't have a BT line here, so no account for that.

You don't need a BT account or a BT line...... you'd just be buying time on their wifi hotspot.

Where I was, there was no phone line at all! No broadband or internet access at all. That's the point of it, you see. :)

We're getting a BT line. Until now, only had cable, as the kids were telly addicts, but we don't watch enough telly to justify the cost any more. Plus we can get more choice of providers once we have a proper landline.

Everywhere I have looked on the BT help pages says I need a BT ID. :(
