Very worrying for you Sue, hopefully the fact they sent him home is reassuring.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm relieved he can finally remember Christmas and is no longer like a stuck record saying the same thing over and over and over! He had lost all memory of December, couldn't remember applying to universities, couldn't remember what he had got for Christmas, couldn't remember buying a graphics card....nothing at all which for Joe is highly unusual as he is the one with the photographic memory and remembers everything right down to the finest of details.
It was quite nice when he knocked 6 years off my age though...
There may well be further tests as it appears he may have the same issue with his heart as James, think that worried them more than the head injury for a time.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Oh Sue, what a scary worry. Sending my love and "The Vibes" to you and Joe. Will be thinking of you both. Cyber hugs from Liverpool.0

Oh Sue, that's not much fun either. I guess though that if there is any possibility of this, that it is better that they investigate while he is still living at home and know the family records and him, then in a strange place.
What a worry though. I don't really do hugs, but I do think about people, so will def think of you lots. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? To recap on last night, we finally had the food just before 10 after some of the men went to retrieve it from the restaurant. They found the shutters half down and the girl on duty just shrugged and said the driver must have forgotten to take it out for delivery!
I decided not to drink more than one glass of wine to be safe to drive. I offered the drinkers a lift home, but they said they were fine

Thanks for the hugs.
I go into calm mode when anything like this happens so fear was not an emotion I felt at the time although obviously there was concern. I don't do panic at times of emergency, just when it comes to going down the road doing normal stuff :rotfl:We made it!
