Special papers.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/MAKE-YOUR-CIGARETTE-TUBE-1000/dp/B006H9D8B6 - tube/filter jobby. Once rolled, you can't tell the difference.
But yes I didSainsbobs only stock a few at a time, I think Mr T stocks 4-5x as many.... which is why I didn't bother to try Sainsbobs once I saw the car park.
Won't have to go again until mid January0 -
Well, about to pop out for some last minute bits. How did I forget to buy the pudding? Doh! They had some nice stuff in Waitrose yesterday, so will probably go there. This is the only time of year I go there.. Though Jeeves pops in occasionally on my behalf. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Well we're off to visit family for a few days, via the shops of course for some last minute bits and pieces - merry Xmas all.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

No pudding here; don't like them. I saw "2 for £1" in Poundland yesterday - some woman's name ones (Jane Asher??) in a plastic lidded pot too. Picked one up, as I was suckered in by being in Poundland and these being "2 for £1" then came to my senses and put it back
No need; no use... would just end up as drudge food you have to force yourself to eat.0 -

Have a good one.
That lure to the shop for "last minute bits and pieces" .... gets all of us - even if we're determined not to!
I'm all prepped out now ... everything I could prepare today's pretty much been done.... just waiting to remove/cool and box the turkey.... job done then.
Got coffee.... might go on a sausage roll hunt at Lidl in 3 hours.0 -

Sausage roll hunt!
Make sure you're well-armed. Them dastardly sausage rolls do sneak up on 'ee summat awful, this time o' year!
Be prepared for an awful lot of choice: sausage and pickle rolls, sausage and redcurrant jelly, sausage and apple sauce, sausage and truffle, sausage and gold-dusted pine nuts, sausage and elfin-dusted hazelnuts, sausage and eye of newt (wing of bat sauce optional)..........and that's just the first row!
And stay away from the Heston range, or you'll be getting sausage and rhinoceros toenail clippings rolls! :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)

I went to A5da the other day and saw a huge range of exciting sounding flavours.... however, my trip out will be to l1dl and a1d1 - who will just have "sausage rolls"
I do like A5da's food range, but I only go about once a year as it's the furthest from me.
There's a pack of 5 I like in Lidl.... but I'll see what's out there.0 -
Well, I'm officially "all done on the food front", pretty much. Turkey's turned off, I'll potter back in 20 minutes or so, it's "resting" still in the pot. I've already found a dish that's big enough for it and lined that with foil. I just have to put the turkey into that then cover it and let it cool, then shove it in the fridge.
I opened the pack of six A1d1 Chocolate/Orange Mince Pies - and, as somebody who doesn't like mince pies, these are definitely a keeper! Well tasty, although I'd recommend you warm them up first. Very chocolateyMore than about 8 seconds in the nuker and it burns your tongue though, which wasn't a great move on such a day as today
