Brain fog, brain fog, will come to me soon.....Interactive media! There got it. Posh name for doing some games design stuff, or other stuff if you want as well. He picked it for the games design element although it isn't a perfect fit but it is pretty close. The perfect fit is Lincoln as he can do AI there.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

York is a very academically oriented university, heavily into academic research as opposed to the practical application of knowledge. That said, as long as he fully understands what that entails and he is happy on a less practical course then he'll do well as York has such a good reputation as a Russell Group university.0

A lot of what he has been doing in the last two years has been academic rather than practical despite doing a BTEC (some are more academic than others, Josh's was very practical, youngest's is more paper based research knowledge).
Some students will do the very least they can do, youngest goes very in depth, loves researching and the more academic, the better.
On top of that, he does his own research projects at home in a completely different subject...what you've described is exactly what he prefers and enjoys.We made it! One of the first things I said when youngest told me about the interview was "Brilliant, I get to see York now!".
