    I'll assume that's that snuff movie that David Attenborough watched

    The Independent are talking about it and I bet this scene will be shown on the next Gogglebox;

    We spoke to the editor of the scene being hailed as potentially the 'greatest TV moment ever'

    It was brilliant, wasn't it, Conrad! :j

    Thank you for the pics, Pyxis! It's not to my taste, but certainly ingenious. As is the blanket box/sideboard.

    Duuuuuck :(

    In other news, something strange happened last night - I looked out this morning to see that my closest fells, Black Combe and White Combe, are both the same colour. I think it may have something to do with the temperature being a tad low ;)

    Well. Thank goodness that's over.

    I've never been aware, at all, at any time, in the past, of the US elections going on .... yet this time the BBC seem to have sent an army of luvvies out on a jolly to the US and there's been way too much "news" online and on the telly about it.

    While it affects us, nobody's "cared" before. I guess this is the downside of them having to find something to fill 24/7 news slots with.

    Weather forecast last night was for snow falls down to 100m above sea level.

    I feel better talking about the weather. :)

    Yep, the snowline appears to be somewhere around that.

    I suppose it just shows how fed up many people have become with the status quo. Maybe he'll be better than we fear.

    My son's friend suggested that the people had had a choice between Dolores Umbridge and Voldemort.

    (ETA Villains from the Harry Potter series, for anyone who hasn't read/seen them.)

    There was some crazy wind/rain storm raging here last night. Took a drive out to Sainsbobs at 7am this morning (baked bean run) .... and the road's got puddles everywhere and the road's awash with small, broken, bits of tree branches and there are leaves everywhere.

    'To Trump' in America is to fart - perhaps that explains the strong winds?

    I'm afraid I don't follow the BBC in being quick to criticise other cultures politcal choices because they don't match our sensiblities. It is a bit like each religion's adherants are convinced they are right and therefore by definiton those who hold equally strong beliefs in a different deity must be wrong.
    I think....
