    You've done this before!

If it were me there'd be varying sized piles of purple gunk ...and a few sprinkles....

We were baby stepped through the smallest of details and some of the things that I went "Oh blooming Nora, there is no way I will be able to do that", were surprisingly easy. Others which I thought would be easy peasy took me about 5 attempts!

The woman next to me was going ahead in the stages, using the cutters to get her shapes etc....I had to wait to be told in minute detail (sometimes twice) before I could move onto the next step.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ditto. sometimes anyone can across the wrong way without meaning to. I'm still feeling incredibly blessed at obtaining my free valet, despite being a bit of a minion and not driving a 5 Series. ;)

I am confused, but happy to see you, lir! You must know that your contribution has been a driving force to this thread and that I am sure no one would ever have intended to upset you.

    Edit: I miss you :)

    +1

Sorry if I was the one to offend you lir. Good to see you back.

Brilliant fun and the whole workshop only costs £20. That includes the provision of the base cake, all icing etc and we get to take the cakes home at the end of the session.

The one who runs them is a Facebook success. She started advertising making birthday cakes on a local group page and she got so many orders that she was then able to open a shop, she now has a very successful business loved by locals.

I'm signed up for more workshops including one where I learn to make sugar paste flowers...hmm, that one might well be a challenge too far but hey ho, at least I will have given it a try.

The cups were a begger, the teapot surprisingly easy!

Amazing! I couldn't even draw in 2D what you managed to create. Literally too good to eat!

I think I'm just passing through.

Tbh, fir got a bit cross about the same stuff that annoyed me that I couldn't be bothered to explain here and wasn't that happy about it. Its water under the bridge as far as I am concerned fwiw, and no resentment is held, but it just made it clear that friendships or proclaimed understanding were not sincere or mutual.

I wish everyone who I care for really well and still care for them and wish only the best , but realise that people cannot care for me if they don't know me and what was said made it clear I was not understood, so it all started to feel a little insincere. Tbh, when fir read it, he was more than a bit cross. His feelings really took priority, and the vehemence of them was not insignificant. He also was annoyed by some things that didn't bother me in the least :D

This is still bookmarked at the top though, so I hit it accidentally sometimes :D.
LIR, I think you are correct, however much we discuss cupcakes, chickens or DKs without actually meeting up face to face it is impossible to know if something we find innocent is hitting a raw nerve for someone else. Like everyone else I have never intended to say things to offend you and fir and apologise if I have done so.

We do miss you but respect you for doing what is best for you.

I was trying to work out the association between kangaroos and your departing students.

Can kangaroo meat ever be described as fresh if its flown round the world to get to your table?
One of the German students was pescatarian and as I don't eat fish I had had two weeks as a vegetarian hence the sausages were a real treat.

DD1 is proving to be a real teenage handful already at 11. I blame poor parenting ie me. I will have to up my game.
    I think....

We miss you on here, it is a shame that difference of opinion made you re-evaluate your involvement with the thread. FWIW I think you massively over reacted, they are entitled to their views as much as you are to yours.

It is a bigger shame that what you posted has made lots of regulars feel the need to try and recall if it is what they said that upset you. Would have been nicer for you to just pass through and say hi, rather than dredge up old business.:(
