Isn't it a bit like jewellery? I mean the same sort of skills are involved, such as manual dexterity and an eye for design. If you can do jewellery you might be absolutely ace at cake decorating.
Cake decorating = sticky goo on a spoon that you're trying to get to a smooth finish/to look nice, without the ability to get out the wire wool and a selection of metal files to file it down and polish it up
So no. Not the same at all0 -

:j :j :j How lovely to see you posting. We've missed you loads. please drop in more often! .
Welcome back, lir! You've been very much missed.
I think I'm just passing through.
Tbh, fir got a bit cross about the same stuff that annoyed me that I couldn't be bothered to explain here and wasn't that happy about it. Its water under the bridge as far as I am concerned fwiw, and no resentment is held, but it just made it clear that friendships or proclaimed understanding were not sincere or mutual.
I wish everyone who I care for really well and still care for them and wish only the best , but realise that people cannot care for me if they don't know me and what was said made it clear I was not understood, so it all started to feel a little insincere. Tbh, when fir read it, he was more than a bit cross. His feelings really took priority, and the vehemence of them was not insignificant. He also was annoyed by some things that didn't bother me in the least
This is still bookmarked at the top though, so I hit it accidentally sometimes.

Please don't worry Pastures. It wasn't any one person or any one thing. It was really not you. Its just there is not really reason and so ....it would be insincere for me to force it, and it would also be disregarding my husband's feelings about the matter.

PWNED.
I thought he says he did try it, but his sc might be a touch warmer than other people's. So, the toxin was denatured and he was okay.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

No wonder the DW had such a smile on her face - I thought it was just because she hadn't had a bit of meat in her mouth for 2 weeks....I think....0 -

I was trying to work out the association between kangaroos and your departing students.
Can kangaroo meat ever be described as fresh if its flown round the world to get to your table?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
