Youngest son saw that yesterday and showed it to me with some disbelief. He couldn't believe that people would vote without actually knowing even the smallest thing that they were voting on. He may only be 18 but he researched it thoroughly, partly because of his studies two years ago and partly because he is a bit of a political history buff who spends his spare time researching stuff like that and writing papers on it (which he only shows to close family...the waste!)
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

The really bizarre voters were those that actually wanted to remain, but voted leave as a protest vote, and are now disappointed by the result.

    Ditto

Whilst the sentiment is good, it should have been done (and passed) before the referendum was even mooted, let alone announced, campaigned and voted upon.

It did go up before the referendum - 25 May (all Gov petitions run for 6 months). I agree it would have been better if it had gone up rather earlier though.

Have just heard that OH's Uncle (in his 90s) has had a fall and broken his hip so is in Arrowe Park Hospital. He's had an operation. Their Grandchildren are looking after OH's Aunt. Never rains but it pours!

It's weird to think that yesterday will be in the history books. I hope not much else happens in the next couple of years that's worth writing about.
