I don't think anyone will be sent back either but there are people out there who believe that is what the result should be and could possibly make life so uncomfortable for them that they are forced to leave for their own safety and welbeing.
Note to self - must get better contacts on Facebook, I really do have some dredges of society on there! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

There's a petition on the Parliament Petition site that is proving very popular, so much so that it crashed the website yesterday evening! Currently at 821,124 signatures.
I won't be signing it.
As passionate as I was, it was true democracy. My vote counted, which it does not in general elections.
I think that electoral reform should take place instead. As much as I might disagree fundamentally with Farage's politics, there is a voice that is unheard. And the Lib Dem vote is now unheard too.
I am sorely disappointed that the vote was swung by disillusioned people, the ones that do believe that the borders are suddenly shut as a result of this vote and that it stops 'Muslims'. They will be disappointed.
Eurostar had to announce yesterday that yes, they were still running after the result. My friend took a plane journey to europe yesterday and a stag party got in the 'other' passport queue instead of EU. Midlands Today ran a voxpops article that made me sick to my stomach. "They're taking over" "why can't they stay in their own country?" Becky is on benefts, doesn't have a council house and says "This is the best day of my life" I despair.
In a published poll, 58% of people that voiced that they were disinterested in politics also voted to leave. That's insane for something so delicate.
I have nothing but respect for people that genuinely researched their position beyond the soundbites, whichever way they voted, and I respect the outcome as that is what democracy is, but it does gall that so many people voted for something very, very ugly and not a part of Boris' campaign, but that is what swung it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I gradually culled all the negative people from my facebook. Makes it a much nicer place.
I have one person to remove today. I need a bit of moral support doing it! You should really get rid.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Nobody will be sent back if they meet the criteria for staying.
Staying: Are you settled/worthwhile having?
Get out: Pointless idiots that are a waste of space, time and a drain on public resources. Criminals, drug dealers, losers and scum.0 -

Whilst the sentiment is good, it should have been done (and passed) before the referendum was even mooted, let alone announced, campaigned and voted upon.0 -

There will certainly be a mass culling on my list too, the one I said about hadn't actually been that bad before the vote (some of his posts were slightly eeek) but I think he felt the freedom to say what he really thought after the result. We made it! Nor me, even though the result was not what I wanted it was a democratic process and I have to accept that.We made it! BBC Interview Fail.
I wasn't watching/listening, it was on, but something caught my eye. Interviewer was in a random market asking stallholders ... then he turned to three people lined up and said "These people all voted to Leave ...."
First one said "No, I voted to remain, but we've chosen now so I'm supporting that decision"
Second one looked like a bloke aged 25-30, he said "I didn't vote, I'm only 16"
.... and the third one... "Well, we have to leave now, so thank you everybody for taking part and we're back to the studio".
The BBC really DO waste a LOT of money on pointless teams of ineffective random reporters at various venues across the country for every opening of an envelope.0 -
It's looking like Europe's becoming more shakey now anyway ... one day people will look back and say "It's a good job we voted out back then - now we're a long way into trading with the whole world and we don't look like desperate idiots that are only trying to cut deals as the Eurozone imploded"
As it stands, only Europe's "got us over any form of barrel, maybe".
As it could turn out, the whole world could have!
It's a bit like CostCo ... anybody can come and buy now. Not just those with magic cards that most can't obtain.0
