I am feeling old today....nothing to do with my health or anything like that but because the uni search for youngest is stepping up a gear, there is talk of personal statements, visits, grades etc going on constantly now.

My youngest, the small one, the baby off to uni in just over a year....feels like only yesterday he was having a screaming fit and having to be pried off me on his first day of playgroup.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Why don't we wear less 'seal coloured' wetsuits? I'm sure it would help.

My cousin dives off a dive boat around Fraser Island, an area which has tiger sharks more than great whites, but also can be a problem. She wears very lurid wetsuits that can't be confused for a seal. She also doesn't surf, even though she can.

Tiger sharks are less discerning in what they eat than great whites and can be more aggressive, so although they are smaller, they are certainly not to be messed with.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Does Oz not have a great problem with mosquitoes? They are reckoned to be the most dangerous creature in the world because of the diseases they spread.

Not really. There's some dengue fever up north but hardly anyone lives up there. AFAIAW there's no malaria here which is the real killer from mozzies.

I have a problem with mozzies but Australia doesn't.

Wellington (puppy) has excelled himself today, all wees and poos done outside:T Yesterday he went out but obviously could not relieve himself in the rain so would rush back indoors to spend his pennies.

the breed rehoming charity has been in touch with us. On Saturday we have a 3 year old dog coming to visit. If all goes well Wellington will be getting a big brother.

    We need puppy pictures! ASAP!
    Great news, Spirit. :)
