My mum was one of 7 my dad one of 6. Many many cousins , throughout childhood we saw lots of them these days I am in contact with a few. The visit to Dublin is an opportunity to catch up with a couple of others but I cant see the benefit apart from honouring some genetic link. I have a cluster of cousins in a small town in kildare and we all look alike. I would easily pass for one of the sisters and we share a similar sense of humour. They however are talented traditional musicians and singers I do not have a musical note in my body.

Out in the garden as otherwise it makes a horrible mess.

Coffee pods are one of those grade products where people who are lazy and disposable income rich get a chance to spend that spare income and keep the economy afloat. The fact that some of them are probably right-on environmentalists from Islington just adds a little extra piquancy for the rest of us. They probably also use liquid soap that costs 40x as much and obviously involves a lot more packaging than bar soap....
    I think....

We had a Tassimo pod machine one day. Received as a gift, we used up the pods that came with it and never used it since. Pretty mediocre coffee and way too expensive pods.
Recently we got a De Longhi 'bean-to-cup' machine. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

    Liquid soap all the way.
There's nothing worse than picking up a bar of soap with cold foam and some pubic hairs on it.

I have never stood on a coffee pod. They don't look strong enough.

    Maybe the ristretto ones..?

Those coffee machines run off the Gillette model: the machine costs very little and the blades/pods cost a fortune. The coffee isn't even that good.

Let's face it. If you drink a latte (trans: milk) then you can't really taste the coffee it's been made with anyway.

I went to Maccas with the Generalissimos yesterday. They had a sweetened coffee drink that had more calories (sugar I guess) in it than coke! Not just a rounding error either.

Interesting to note that the Pope thinks Mr Trump is a complete !!!!!. I think Mr Trump's a !!!! too but I guess the Pontiff is too polite to say it.

Blimey, I dare not go into first cousins once removed (or 2nd cousins as we call them in our family), or the next generation after that.

A note was taken of how many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren my nan had back in about 1990 ish and it numbered over 120 then...many more children have been born since then.

Some of my cousins are great grandparents already, their grandchildren are similar ages to my boys!

My kids are the oldest of their generation on both sides, so there are only 1 or 2 babies (born to their second cousins) dotted around of the next generation. Keeps it all neat, current lot have all finished producing and next generation only just getting started, so not much to keep track of at the moment.

I like coffee but it doesn't like me. If I possessed some coffee machine I wouldn't be able to resist trying out different pods and my caffeine induced headaches would increase, so I keep away. Ration myself to one coffee a day.

Anyone that can't be bothered to boil a kettle, put milk and a spoon of powder into a cup before taking the water from the kettle and adding it, before having time to clean a coffee machine annoys me :)

We don't even have a coffee machine in the office, nor will there be one for as long as I'm in charge. Never used pods, but if they're anything like the coffee I had on jury service, they're not worth the money anyway (it was so bad I took my own coffee/milk from the second day)

Sorry if that came across as a bit strong.

No view here as I don't drink coffee, I don't even have a jar of coffee in the house, let alone a coffee maker.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
