My hedgehog's still about ... just spotted some doo doo ... he's squeezed out a bit of a biggun by the fence. :)
    It's about 2½" long.

That's a pretty small hedgehog :rotfl:

Next job - install the water butts that came in the delivery to capture the rain off the workshop roof. The ones I've got catching it off the back porch & outbuilding are doing very nicely so it's worth catching some more free water ;)

That's that job jobbed. I need to get some jubilee clips to more firmly fix the hoses that link the butts but they'll do for now.

Anyway, I now have another 400 litres of rainwater storage capacity so, being a firm believer in the Law of You-Know-Who, I can confidently predict that we're in for a drought - so the darned things won't get filled up :rotfl:

There are loads of cheap bluetooth battery speakers, often they are 'shower proof' so even better. Problem is I suspect most of them won't actually produce sound at that frequency even if your phone tells them to (which it may well not do either).
Ok, so who do we know who's a sound engineer/physicist?
I've just been googling - I know nothing of music playing ... and I'd come up with the word bluetooth.

The range is a known frequency range, so I'd just need to check that the specs included that specific frequency and that it was well within the range ability.

Trouble is, too, not being able to hear it (or maybe I can due to my peculiar hearing issues) ... I'd not know how loud it was either. Or if it were playing.
Yes, that is a drawback! :rotfl:

I suppose you'd only be able to go by the kids' reactions!

Actually, I'm sure I came across an App or a hearing test thing online that gave sounds and you hit the button when you stopped hearing them......then it gave the ages of who could hear which frequencies.

I remember being quite shocked at how quickly I hit the button, even though I can hear perfectly ok!

Here's one. Not the one I did before, but it gives you an idea.

Apparently my ears are 11 years younger than I am! :rotfl:

Another site said that over the age of twenty you can't hear 19,000 herz, although I'm not sure that's correct. If it is, you need something with a frequency of around 19,000 herz to drive the kids away!

Apparently only newborns can hear at 20,000 hz, but I don't suppose you want to drive many of them away?

Hehe, that reminds me of an old Fred Bassett cartoon - his master's bought one of those whistles that only dogs can hear.
He's blowing it like crazy and Fred's hiding behind a bush pretending that it doesn't work :rotfl:

Lovely to hear from you, Inspector.
    How are things for you?
I am in the midst of DS's GCSEs. Just given him a day and a half of peace and quiet by leaving him under next door's supervision and taking DD to see FIL & MIL. MIL still fine, but FIL's memory definitely going, I'm afraid.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
