Ah Pyxis, there are two ways if getting there. You can either turn right on the main road from the Watford jungle, or head due south from the frozen Stevenage tundra.

I'm sure I saw camel racing once, but it must have been a long time ago as I can't remember where it was! When I was a child and lived in Gibraltar for a few years we had a day trip to Ceuta, so it might have been then.
Or perhaps I'm just remembering seeing some on TV :o

Desert, jungle and frozen tundra?

Which reminds me - there's also the St. Albamazon Rainforest!

Such a lot of climatic and environmental variety in such a small area!

Do you get lots of explorers? Or do they all get lost among the Welwyn Garden City roundabouts?
And deep sea divers in the Broxbourne reservoirs! Any blue whales sighted there?

Yes, it really pelted down in the night, but I didn't see any lightning or hear any thunder this time.

Dunno about Hertfordshire, but my garden is gradually turning into a rainforest. :(

The bindweed is taking over, and where the weed membrane was, there are now foot high weeds. :(

I expect the foxes will be back soon.

That's ok. Better than jaguars and pythons. (Just next-door's cat and some earthworms).

I expect the frogs will be having a field-day, pretty much literally! :D

I like finding frogs in the garden. There are lots of places for them to hide. Almost every time I lift a stone or some bricks there's a frog.

I tried kissing one once, but it just stayed a frog. :(

I watered the plants yesterday, just before it started raining.

Was thinking of buying an irrigation system for the raised flower beds. Not sure I'll bother.
