Cruyff was the person who got me watching football. A true exponent of the beautiful game. How lucky were we kids to watch both Cruyff and Pele?

    Happy belated birthday Gen!

I woke up at 6 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep.

When I have work to go to getting out of bed is painful but this morning when I have nothing to do I felt restless. Made a sausage sandwich and now watching BBC news with the dog.

Morning Mas. I didn't know that you had a dog. What breed is it?
Must be a brainy type if it is into watching current affairs.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Happy birthday Gen, did you decide to 'up your game' and make more of an effort to get drunk by early afternoon?

I'm trying to go the other way, and cut down, I've just been looking at longevity calculators (that allow alcohol consumption as a variable). I can't find the one that I previously used, which predicted about 15 more years if I cut down to 14 units/week (from far too many). I think that it was a big overestimate, but I latched onto it anyway, as a motivation tool. All I could find this morning was an extra 7 years, although that should be enough anyway. Trouble is that it is really easily to be sensible at 9.30 am, but after 6 pm is a different story, especially when I start cooking.
