This programme tonight had the Peter chap not marrying/having children. I presume they'll have trawled through all the assizes records to check for any affiliation orders etc .... I can't believe that somebody single, back then, mixing with all the riff raff etc didn't get some girl/s up the duff.

I wonder if he was gay. It's not something one thinks of immediately when you're doing your tree. You see lots of single men and just assumed they were unlucky, completely undesirable/imbecile, or just too ugly for anybody to sh4g. A lot of them must've just simply been gay.

Slight generalisation- either gay or had an assortment of offspring.

Could just be they couldn't afford to set up home with anyone or their offspring are not recorded to belonging to them.

Today I spring cleaned the potting shed in a bid to make homeless the mice who have dug up the sweet pea seeds from their pots and eaten them.

Will buy more sweet pea seeds and try planting again tomorrow.

    OH puppy proofed the garden.

We are going to see puppies on 9th April. They are in Devon. All being well we will pick up a little boy on our return from holiday
    at the end of May.

    The puppies look like this:

We had low key 18th birthday celebrations, the only concession he would make is that I could get a special cake.

He was very happy with his birthday money he got from everyone though as he can now get the graphics tablet he wanted plus 2 of the 3 monitors that were on his wish list (it's not all birthday money, he had already saved close to £200 towards his shopping list).

    Graphics tablet arriving tomorrow....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

We didn't realise that garden plants could be toxic but I was surprised how many hazards there are

IIRC even the tops of spuds/toms are poisonous.

    Happy Birthday to him.

Why the need for 3 monitors?

He's a computer geek, apparently it is a requirement to have more than one monitor.

Can't see it myself but it is his money......

I can't work effectively with fewer than 2. 3 are great to get the most out of a Bloomberg terminal.

I have very fond memories of my 18th birthday and the very lovely Jackie. Obviously she wasn't as pretty as Mrs Generali. Obviously.
