Well done on the £35, I'm getting small amounts into my savings and then transfer to Cap1 at the end of the month.
So frustrating when your waiting for post, running to the door like a mad person when you see the postman, or is that just me.
Hope you have a good weekend0 -
That's not just you anita. How times have changed. It was only a few years ago I'd dread the postman coming because he was always bringing me threatening letters. It's amazing how £1 per month can get these people off your back lol.
I emailed ARC Europe again last night again making them a F&F offer. I told them if I didn't hear from them by next Friday (pay day) then I'll assume they are happy to continue receiving £1 per month and the offer will be made to the next creditor on my list.
Have to pop to Asda at some point today to pick up a valentine card and some nicies for OH. Have decided to just but him all his favourites i.e beer, chocolate etc. He's told me we are spending the weekend at his mums so not quite the romantic weekend I was hoping for
Woken up this morning and feel as if I've another cold coming, it'll be about the third one so far this year, I don't know whether its the same cold lingering or whether it's a different one but don't feel 100%. Still, life has to go on for the lady of the house.....
Have a good day everyone and if I have anything in the mail or via e-mail I'll update my post.12/04/2019

Good idea to tell them you'll go somewhere else with your money, that will make them move, bet you get a letter soon.
Boo to staying at you MIL but at least (hopefully) you'll get fed and a rest (or is that asking too much).
Have a great valentines day, we don't do it here, but have been asking OH if he has my card ready, answer was definatly no, oh well didn't get him one either lol0 -
Good afternoon, happy Valentine's Day everyone.
Didn't get to the MILs until about 10 last night. Stopped off for a KFC (paid for by OH) and didn't get up very early this morning so that makes the hours of the visit a bit less.
Don't know what the plan for the rest of the day is, will have to wait and see what OH decides. Hopefully will end up a NSD though.12/04/2019

Well done on the £35.00 of debt repayment. I managed to pay off all of my credit card debt in 2014. Towards the end of 2015 I closed my credit cards down. I have kept one credit card to travel reasons. In 2015 I managed to pay back money to my mum that I had borrowed in 2014.
I am trying to pay off my mortgage and I am doing this slowly. I am using allowed overpayments. This month I haven't yet paid my mortgage overpayments. I hope to be mortgage free by 1st September 2017. Good luck.0 -
Hi maximum saving, well done on your debt repayments, I'll get there one day. Can't even think about being mortgage free yet.
Not got very much planned today. Got home from OH's this morning and have put some washing on and tidied up a bit. Need to pop out at some point today for some bread and pet food, hardly any money left in my purse so will have to buy sachets. I got £80 hitting the bank account tomorrow so that will tide me over until pay day on Friday.
Wonder if I'll hear from ARC Europe today?????12/04/2019

Good luck with the sealed pot, soon adds up paid most of the holiday off today was fun taking the £2.00's into the bank today, I think the cashier was a bit surprised about the amount lol.
Boo to not hearing anything else from ARC, what's the matter with them0 -
Right have received an email of the FOS regarding a claim against HSBC requesting more information. Don't really know much about this claim as HSBC wrote to me in December saying the initial decision was incorrect.
So, to do list for tomorrow:
Contact HSBC and find out what it's all about. May be a mis-selling of PPI.
Have also found an old Microsoft Surface which I can sell. Don't know whether to pop it onto e-bay or use Music Magpie which will give me £50.
Pop some rubbish down the rubbish dump.
Buy some Ink for my printer so that I can start my next Uni assignment.
I love having a plan, but I love it even more when I complete everything on my to do list.12/04/2019

So I've been up early today and already been on the phone to HSBE. Unfortunately I couldn't remember anything about the loan/credit card I had with them so failed security. I now have to write to them and ask for a copy of the Final Response Letter. I may even have a copy but it'll be up the attic and me being the impatient person that I am can't wait to look, so I've written a letter, will pop it in the post today and try and get up the attic over the next few days to look through the paperwork. This will also be an excuse to sort through some car boot/e-bay stuff that's up there.
Off out at Midday to take my mum out for an hour or so. When I get back the plan is to pop to the skip and sort the Surface out for selling.
Have also managed to transfer the odd money in my current account into my savings account so now have £39.90. Just need the F&F to arrive and I can put some wheels in motion12/04/2019
