what utter garbage is being spouted on this thread about some good and some bad psychics.

There is no such thing as a good psychic or a bad one for that matter. What there is such thing as is a good con-man, and that is what you have all been hoodwinked by.

Psychic powers my a***, the only ability that they have is the ability to con money out of people who believe in their horse****, or are so desperate to 'hear' from their dead relatives that they believe anything and hang on to any grain of (pure luck/trick/con gained) truth about their loved ones.

Have you got proof that it doesn't exist?

    Bloody good guesswork...
I've got an Irish/French first name.
She rightly called my father Seoc...Scottish Gaelic
While knowing he has a given Welsh Celtic name.....Alwyn
I speak with an English accent, the reading was done in England and no details of my birthplace or heritage were discussed at all during the reading.

She never asked any leading questions, in fact I hardly said a word during the whole reading, none of what she talked to me about are normal life experiences for a baby or child, She was 100% spot on with everything...

As for James Rand I highly doubt she had heard of him, she was in her 60's 30 years ago, was he already an arrogant idiot in the 80's?
.If you choose to not believe fine, but there are those of us who have personal proof that there are genuine people out there..

I'm sure there is more proof in their favour as nobody can prove true psychics don't actually exist.

You are quite right that there is no way to prove that they dont exist, as it is impossible to prove absolute non-existence of anything.
However, there are way to prove that something does exist and there is no scientific evidence that these psychics have any ability other than the ability to take money from the gullible.

again i will say that it is impossible to prove that something universally does not exist

    Of course there's personal proof...

Please provide proof that it is 'ridiculous nonsense' ....Can you do that?
Well someone did provide proof to me that there are genuine psychics out there...

Just because you choose not to believe something doesn't make unreal, you can't discount something you haven't tried.

No, just because you believe something does not prove anything, just states that you believe it.

Well thank you - Poppie68 & Faith177 - for your interesting and informative experiences.

Lovely, to see all the 'reasons' and 'explanations' of how you were tricked/duped fall apart one by one.

The naysayers get so caught up in their own righteousness that they didn't read the detail of your posts before making a reply.

I wonder sometimes, what are the naysayers so afraid of? What is the problem with some psychics/mediums being valid? Personally, I wouldn't consider using any telephone readings - I have no confidence in that. And the problem with those doing the 'shows' - they were probably good at one time but the pressure to perform, made them cut corners, and their ego got to big - not a good trait in a medium.

Others have said, well if they were any good they could have done ...... etc.
The point being, that by giving the message, with validation that is excepted it demonstrates that there is an afterlife, there is only a physical death - maybe that's what the naysayers are so afraid of - just a thought.

Did you not read my post?? I said a couple of times she told me several things even I didn't know. She also told me about my future with my then BF and it played out pretty much how she said including timeframes. She told me about a holiday I didn't even know was booked yet too as mentioned previously

If you are going to belittle someone for "wasting money" at least read what they put properly before going in all guns blazing.

Mine was taped btw and I took notes during it I only ever answered yes or no on the rare occasion she asked me anything.

I'm assuming that everything you said is true and this person was a true psychic...

You have paid £50, the psychic then starts telling you information you already know (obviously not useful). She then told you about your future with your bf that happened exactly as she said (so it would have happened anyway without her telling you). Then to top it all off she then ruins the moment of your boyfriend telling you he booked a holiday because you already knew! .

I'm not belittling you at all, I'm just saying even if it was 100% true it's still not worth £50 because none of the information was beneficial !

Bit like your own delusions in denying something doesn't exist that you have a) no personal experience of and b) no proof either way that it does or doesn't

For example until about a week ago it was believed that a type of crane fly had been extinct for the last 50 years. A group scientists go to a remote island and would you believe it one lands on his hand so all this time they were alive and well when everyone was convinced that they were all dead and gone.

The Universe has so many undiscovered marvels how can you be so sure psychic abilities don't exist?

Just remember years ago everyone was convinced the World was flat and look how that turned out ;)

But it was beneficial to me is that not enough? It's my money I can spend it how I wish if it brings joy to me who are you to get a bee in your bonnet over it

I bet there is stuff you spend your money on that I wouldn't think was very beneficial if you told me about it but I wouldn't throw it in your face and say so mainly because each to their own
