Psychics

Has anyone been scammed by a psychic? I know there exists a law called something along the lines of the "fraudulents mediums act" which is interesting as it carries an implication that real mediums exists.

I don't know, I just thought this would be an interesting debt. For those who do believe in the other world, and those who don't.

A friend paid £55 for a one hour reading , well to me we all know what happens if you sit under a cows !!!!...

But to the belivers, how can you tell the difference?

The Fraudulent mediums act was repealed in 2008 so no longer has any power. (A bit like most of the mediums)

I suppose that the law has to accept that real mediums may well exist as it's impossible to prove otherwise. You could prove that some are fake but unless you test every single person in the world who claims to be a medium, there is still a possibility that one or more of them is genuine.

How would you prove what you were told was wrong? I know people who have had readings and they are difficult to prove whether or not they are wrong.

The problem with psychics is... they can see you coming.
  • See, I'm worried about a friend- he went to see a psychic, and the psychic was very upbeat and jolly, so my mate punched her!

His defence is that it's good to strike a happy medium, will this hold up in court?

I'd heard that the psychic had retaliated though, she was quite violent for such a delicate lady. The police were called, but she got away.
They're now on the lookout for a small medium at large :rotfl:

When I used to work in Car Insurance, I found it amusing when I arranged cover for a psychic that she took out comprehensive cover.

I checked a year later an she had not made a claim, surely she should have taken out third party only
