When people write posts they give us not only perceptions but facts as well. We can help by assisting them to tell one from another as when one is in the middle of it it is hard to see the difference. We can speculate about possible reasons for those perceptions. Some of us can also pass sweeping judgement of how bad op's girlfriend is and how outraged they are

And some of us can spend our time having snide digs at each other, merely because they do not share the same view point thus completely derailing the topic and making it all about us and our petty squabbles over how we see a strangers life
