Morning all,
It's freezing here today! Planning on having another house based day today. Annoyingly I found more stuff for the tip after yesterday's trip but that'll have to wait until I head that direction in the car again. I think I'm going to be mainly doing housework but planning a long dog walk with the 4 legged ones, and the usually shorter walk for the tripod.
Hope you all have a good day, at least its forecast to be dry today, even if it is arctic temperatures!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Morning all. :hello:
Quick check in from me this morning before I head off to do my tutoring. I also need to do a little bit of shopping - we're out of milk and I have nothing much planned for Valentine's dinner (thought dh may plan something - he may be feeling better but he's still rubbish at things that require thought like Christmas and birthdays etc) He got £land Valentine's day from me which consisted of crisps, deodorant and a couple of our favourite films on dvd in the hope that we get the time to watch them together at some point soon.
Have a good day everyone, enjoy the sun if you have it - we do this morning :jNot giving up

Well I've just waded my way through the piles of Valentine's cards behind the front door.....I'll open them later! :rotfl::happylove
It looks like a nice bright, but cold day so I will be heading out for a hike later.
I'm house-sitting for a friend until Tuesday, so unlimited WiFi and Sky tv on tap! I have about 80 books to sell online, so at least I can do that with peace and quiet. When I'm in Maccys or the library using their WiFi, there is always people coming and going and I get easily distracted!
I have become accustomed to not having WiFi at home and thankfully don't have the bills to go with it! It's not a hardship as I have so many places I can get it for free!
I don't think I will be spending today as I have everything I need for the next 3 days.:)

It's nice and sunny here as well although I haven't ventured out so I don't know how warm/cold it is outside. I wish you a lovely quality time together with your hubby later. Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Hubby and I agreed not to spend on Valentine cards or gifts on each other. This weekend had been about making each other and the children special and loved. This morning, my hubby woke up early to sort the laundry and get it going in the washing machine. I am cooking beef stew for our special dinner tonight. We nearly went out for dinner last night but decided to earn an much awaited NSD. And we did! Saved ourselves a fortune by staying in. Today are trying something different too. Instead of going out food shopping this afternoon, we'll make do with what we have in the fridge or freezer for tomorrow's packed lunches and do the weekly shop after work tomorrow instead to earn another NSD. We'll see how it goes.
Brunch is on me so I'd better get started. Have a nice day everyone!"There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -

Thanks Fmess
FunBrum- awww what a lovely thing to say. Bless you. I plan to be there as much as I can for my children. It's something my own family have not been good at. Anyway their loss.
Calling - wow that is an incredible itinerary! I do hope you'll be able to go out and join her at some point.
Simple day of resting today. Very quick spin to the shop for butter and crackers. Then using up stuff from the fridge for lunch. Made a fried egg meal on a leftover wrap with chorizo and tomatoes. Oh and a handful of cheddar.
Just made the £5 PAD I mentioned yesterday from the nappy saving. Feels good to have made some progress again.
Having a nice hot coffee with a sleepy little baby on my lap life feels right again(obviously being careful with the hot drink that sounded a bit careless)

TOG. Snow flakes? Where are you? keep them there.
So glad I have heating today, had a cold but sunny walk this am, followed by a coffee at friends house.
Gained another Sfd today nearly broke it as wanted stuffing to go with my pork. As pork was so yummy happy to make do with scrummy roast vegetables. Made more lentil soup for work.
Suppose masses of valentines cards will arrive tomorrow.
Such sad news hearing the deaths of Warrington based indie band. Heartbreaking for the families.

Calling, I'm up north! We had hail too!
Had a lovely brunch with the fambam over a catch up episode of Pointless, a family favourite. Had a short sewing session, an hour in the bath and now off to finish laundry and housecleaning. I love weekends! I am so glad I don't have to go to work on weekends and night shifts anymore. Just saying.
