The thread is about slobby parents doing the school run in pyjamas, and even turning up to assemblies and parents evenings wearing their PJs, not people going out in their own garden for 2 minutes.left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

nd I'd be concerned that no-one offered to take the kids to school -probably too busy judging
Yes that is a concern too. It's a shame no-one offered (if that's the case). But if you're well enough to leave the house and drive a car you're well enough to slip into some outdoor clothes even if it's just a tracksuit. PJs are useless for outdoor wear, as you agreed earlier. That's not what they were intended for.left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

Maybe but upon reading the thread it is quite apparent there are those that believe it's a crime to step foot outside your front door whilst wearing pyjamas. Hell, there's even one poster who claims he/she wouldn't even dream of going downstairs before being fully washed and dressed :rotfl:
Whilst I would never rock up to the school gates or even the corner shop whilst wearing pjs, it's not unknown for me to walk the dog early morning or late evening with coat and maybe waterproof trousers and boots over the top.
I'm also another one that hates sitting around the house in clothes I wear to go out. I have four levels of clothing - pyjamas/leggings/t-shirts for wearing indoors; old jeans/cargo pants and jumpers/hoodies for dog walking or nipping to local shop/PO. Smarter jeans/trousers and tops for going out 'proper shopping', cinema trips, lunch out etc; then more formal wear dresses/skirt suits for when the occasion arises.
Most days the only reason I leave the house is to walk the dog so I may wear the same clothes all week (unless they get muddy) but I'll change my indoor clothes daily, sometimes twice a day as these are far easier to wash/dry than jeans and sweatshirts every day!0 -
This is why I wear tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt to bed that way if I ever go out in them people just think I've been to the gym :P0

Had to laugh at this, because it reminded me of this thread! On Big Brother last night, the audience were really nasty; jeering and hollaring, like a bunch of bottom-feeding scummy chavs. They were particularly vile to John Partridge from Eastenders, and someone put a message on digital spy about it. :rotfl:
The poster on DS said...
I just find it pathetic to be honest - as I said on another thread - people thinking they're wonderful booing John. He'll be in rehearsals for Chicago next week when they're going to the shops in their pyjamas. Who's the loser?

Big Brother's always been a bit panto, with the booing and hissing, or cheering the good guys. I wouldn't be surprised if the audience are even asked to boo/cheer by the programme makers.left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

Yes, we went to see The Voice being recorded and the audience were directed to behave certain ways at certain times. It was akin to being a performing seal!0

I have several children and work full time so the school run is done on my way to work. Therefore I can't say I have ever done this and have quite honestly very little sympathy for anybody who does.
So what do 'stay at home mums' who are still in pyjamas at 9 in the morning do for the rest of the day ? Can't get my head around something like that at all.0
