Doctors rang again.. I made the executive decision of not answering the phone.. WHEN I want an appointment I will ring them.. until then they can give them to people who do need one!

Why do I need to go there and waste an appointment when there is nothing wrong with me??

I can't take iron tablets it says so in my notes and if I need ABs for a UTI why can they not just do a prescription and send it to the chemist?? What a total waste of everyones time.. When you are actually ill and need an appointment you can never get one.. no wonder when they are forcing people who are well to go (she says sat here snotting and grotting with the 6th cold in 4 months! haha).. guess it makes the GP job easy!

DW on.. filled it while waiting for kettle to boil, not sure if I fill the DW quick or if the kettle takes ages to boil!!

Having a cuppa then I need to clear the table and get the DW done again and maybe some laundry folded.

Pixie just tried throwing herself down the stairs so I grabbed her and have injured my knee in the process.. and my hip is now aching too.. bloody marvellous! She frightens me to death on the stairs, she is just clueless.. none of the others were this daft.

Just in from hairdressers time for a coffee then work, it's really windy out there so I bet the kids will be wild in the playground - not sure why but the wind does that to them.
Hope you manage to get some rest and ease your aching joints pigpen. I daren't ask for wool on freecycle etc I have too much already. At the mo I'm trying to use up the little odd leftovers but I have other full balls of baby yarn I can break into to.
I quite fancy having a go at a rabbit Roma square, I was given some grey wool a while ago I couldn't think of a use for so might try a rabbit with that for a change

Decided to have lunch before cleaning as starving hungry - think I may be procrastinating a bit. Anyhow, whilst having my sandwich, I thought I'd show you a picture of the fair isle hat I've started - I've actually done a bit more since this was taken.

  • Afternoon folks.

Sorry for non appearance on thread yesterday. I had a CT scan in the morning and spent the afternoon asleep.

Hospital rang this morning. They had somehow failed to issue me with a pre op appointment. So I have to go in tomorrow morning. Oh well...

    Hope everyone is well...

Mumof2 that's lovely. I'm too scared to have a go at fair Isle. I'm just breaking into cabling!!!

Frizzlef take care of yourself. Nearly there!

Well I managed to roll a hank into a ball of wool yesterday.

Have bben at work this morning and now going to crack on with sorting the kitchen a wee bit as it's pretty dire!

Only need to collect dd2 as Dd1 at a club until half 4.
