    So. Tired.

Already in PJs and have been since 4! Serves me right for taking on 2 jobs on the same day I guess but the result is I haven't done any housework apart from a load of washing. Going to pick up a tiny bit, wash up, finish the ironing, get S ready for bed and then sit and knit. I'm having a go at a Fair Isle hat - first time ever - and am enjoying it though am really really slow.

Hugs, sticks, spoons to all; sorry I really did read but have forgotten it all.

In view of your previous post, re what happened to your Mum, I'm surprised you were so restrained.;) I think people who do that sort of thing should have to suffer the kind of problems they cause others - times 10.

Yes, mum has changed her password but there is no way to regain 3yrs worth of emails that the scam munched through. She says she is still getting a similar scam but can now recognise them and delete immediately.

Just watched the news and the first 2 items were about scams; one about ****scoundrels renting flats out that don't exist (from a web site in Nigeria) and another about a "pastor" who is claiming to cure cancer and all sorts - and I don't mean proper faith healing.

    What a world.

Have now got gym stuff on and ready to go. Will be lovely for Mr N to see the old class; he'd been going there for over 10yrs before he was ill.

    Evening all,

Not a lot achieved here - paid stuff all day, home at 5 and straight on with kiddies tea and trying to organise for party. What have I done? I have zero time and I'm on burn-out :( really must crack on, unless I fancy doing it all after a 9hr day at work followed by 3hrs at college tomorrow. Gah.

Hugs dizzy you must feel completely "meh" xxx

I'm also putting a call out for some help please. Could anybody take over my every-other-week thread job for a while please? Im completely over-committed at the moment and I'm afraid something's got to give. I'm really sorry to have to bail out. I will of course continue with this week. Pretty please? Xxx

Bossy- I would gladly help in the future but for the next month or so I'd better concentrate on baby's arrival. Hope you get someone to tide you over.

I've been in full on baking mode today. Something that I have let slip since we moved because there is always so many other things to do! I have made two left over chicken and veg pies, then I made some cinnamon swirls with the left over pastry. (What did we do before Google??!!) also made banana loaf this morning, so feeling quite domesticated! I am not a natural/good cook but I do try!

    Carry over list...

    Sort out coats and shoes
    Post parcel
    Wipe down skirting boards downstairs!
Take cake tins back to owner.

  • pigpen hope the little darlings sleep tonight. My DS was crashing about at half two last night as well. Must have been something in the air.

I have done bits today, had to take DS1 for an appointment. Late finish tomorrow at the paid stuff but I will do what I can!

Pigpen let's hope Pixie stays asleep all night in her bed.

Frizzlef well done with all the baking - not nesting are you?!!

Here's tomorrow's list. I should have been in bed ages but got really distracted with my Fair Isle hat; I love it and think I may have picked up a bit of speed!!

First off, remove any miscellaneous garb that belongs elsewhere.
    Dust and vac all around
    Wash the windows
Polish any mirrors or glass-covered pics

Wipe or spot clean the sofas / chairs as needed

Tuesday - kitchen and dining room
Wipe down the cupboard fronts, including kickboards
Clear a hotspot, is the under sink cupboard ready to topple out on you if the door opens?
