chasey phonecalls for the week made...

Hardly slept last night.. 2 naughty girls thought 2:30am was get up and play time.. I am going to be a delight by school pick up time haha.

It's nice and dry out so hoping to get through a few wash loads and reclaim the kitchen floor.. it is buried under about 6 loads of dirty washing at the moment!

I am getting Henry out for a run to get DS3 out of bed,.. ooh he has his appointment at 7pm.. OH's job, I get to put girls to bed.. let's see if they dare mess about for me tonight lol.. I may whizz the side off the cot for Pixie too.. she will be evicted from my bed!

I have an ebay parcel to get sorted and I need to pop to bank..

Neckband to do in this first cardigan and I can start the second... I'm a bit  about a baby cardigan in green.. darkish green not baby pastels..

argh!! .. power supply arrived for new laptop (new being nearly 2 years old of course lol) .. and I'm having to set everything up again.. LOADS of updates and stuff.. given it hasn't been usable since August despite 2 repairs it isn't surprising but it is taking forever to do anything.. there must be millions of windows updates and everything else updates too.. and I can't access any of the backed up files still.. this is simply not amusing!

Not doing badly today, although I haven't done much in the living room.
    - emptied all bins in house
    - cleaned bathroom washbasin
-put away a few things in the kitchen
    - did half an hour or so pruning/weeding/tidying in the garden
    - finished one report and emailed it
-dealt with 6-8 items on my email task list; one of these was dated 2014.....although in my defence, it was a research paper I'd marked to read but wasn't very important.
-Made enough notes on 3 of the above to count as training, so can add that to CPD (all my things 'to be added' are of course in a plastic tray labelled CPD....)
    - answered phone to someone trying to convince me there was a problem with my computer and told him "You're a scam; bu**er off" which I shouldn't feel proud about, but gave me immense satisfaction!!
    - halfway through another report.

    Lunch next.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
