Morning all.
Hugs, sticks, spoons and vibes as needed to all.
Yesterday was lost to a trip to town with DD and then the weekly shop, not to mention some work thrown in there as well. Today flying will have to wait until I've done the work I should have done yesterday. Going to fling a stew in the SC so I don't have to thing about tea.
Oh and to top it off we have workmen coming today apparently. How they're going to fix the gutter in rain and high winds I don't know! He was supposed to call me but called my landlady instead, unless he was the person who called once yesterday morning and I couldn't hear them as I was on a busy main road and it was windy. If it had been a number I'd have called it back, but when it comes up "No Caller ID" then I can't call them back can I? Either way he's coming today.
Off to do the SC then make a start on work :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Mrs MP... stick a note on freecycle or local FB groups .. loads of people will offer donations for your baby knitting..

Need to ring Hive people again..

After a good start I'm afraid I'll have to bow out, at least for now. I'm having a few health issues (nothing too bad) that are dictating what, when and how I do things
I didn't want to be one of those that shows up at the beginning of a new year and just fades away, lol, so wanted to say what's going on. I'll still lurk as I find the thread inspiring!0 -
Sorry I forgot to come in an post yesterday as I went out to the cinema in the evening.
I got everything from yesterday done except the Windows, and I also did the ironing, a load of washing and the kitchen.

Sorry that you are not so well at the moment - come back and join us whenever you feel up to it.
Just been for a walk in the rain and it was horrid - it wasn't raining when we (Whiz and me) left but looked like it would so luckily wore my waxed coat and had my big brimmed hat stuffed in my pocket. It ended up really raining but it was so windy it was blowing right into our faces. Whiz wasn't impressed with me taking him out in it and had his head down resolutely and ears back .... luckily he had his nice warm coat on. I found out the hard way that my new wellington boots do in fact rub so both heels are sore but one has the skin rubbed raw so desperately looking for a Compeed at home else I'll have to hobble out again. Nice to be back in again.
Flying wise I've walked, done chooks and emailed S's report to dyslexia centre and now having a cuppa. After going to unload DW, run WM and do what I can from my list.
Pigpen good girl Pixie to let Mum sleep all night!
Frizzlef take it steady now - I can well remember the waddle stage
Mrs-MP that cold sounds nasty, make sure you dose yourself up well and take it easy.
Glen sounds like you're going great guns - well done!
