How patronising.
I am missing it, hence the request.
I could be wrong but I don't think that was meant to be patronising. Fact is that if you didn't sign up on time then you won't be able to enjoy those deals, however much you want to. So not knowing about it is actively better for your state of wellbeing, and no worse for your wallet.
If you enjoy simmering in a broth of annoyed regret, or just want information about what you missed, then yes, that response is unhelpful. :rotfl:0 -
Hi - does anybody (e.g. Malc from E-ON) know the unit rates and standing charge for Eon's MSE Collective Feb 2016 Online? (assume paperless billing)
Annoyingly these aren't anywhere on the MSE Energy Club pages, and their website keeps falling over when I try to do the comparison page.
Thanks!
The CEC website is fine now and the prices are on there. (I've just checked) You just click the supplier's company logo on the line with contains the details of your estimated savings and costs.
The tariffs varies by region so you need to get a comparison yourself.0 -
Quick update all. Things have changed and we've extended the end date for our Fixed 1 Year version 19 tariff until Monday, 8 February 16.
The new version 20 tariff will be available from Tuesday, 9 February 16. Details will be available on our website and the independent comparison sites at this time.
Customers currently on our fixed term tariffs who have signed up for Price Alerts will receive an email letting them know all about the new tariff.
I'll update the other threads where I promised to let customers know about the end of version 19 too. Sorry for the confusion.
Malc
Morning All
As Helena advised on other threads yesterday, the end date of our Fixed 1 Year version 19 tariff has changed again. It's now midnight tonight, 9 February 16.
As above, details will be on our website and the independent comparison sites.
Sorry for the confusion.

I am an official company representative of E.ON. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
Ok, could I gamble and see what v20 is on Tuesday and switch to that for both gas and electricity and then switch the electricity only using the collective switch?
Morning phillw
Yes, you could do that. There's no exit fee for moving between E.ON products so you can change to any of our tariffs that you qualify for at any time.
As above, the end date of our Fixed 1 Year version 19 tariff has changed again. It's now midnight tonight, 9 February 16.
Hope this helps phillw.

Sorry whoosh. Ordinary advisors like us aren't in the loop whilst collectives are in progress. Not much help now, I know, but once a switch has been done, prices are on individual accounts. Customers registered with our website will be able to see them on there too. Before this, though, they're only available through MSE's Cheap Energy Club.
Sorry again that I can't help more at this stage.

I didn't subscribe in time, so can't see any of the rates offered.
Sorry you missed out Daytona. Just a quick note for the future. As above, prices for collective tariffs are only available initially through the third party (eg MSE) offering the deal.

I'm simply interested in how the MSE deals compare with the comparison sites. I'm perfectly able to cope with the fact that I'm not on the best deal. Telling me what's best for my state of mind and laughing at me is patronising.0 -
Looks like the Eon V20 tariff is a big hike over the last one. It's gone from £24.99 a month (v19) to £32 a month (v20), a very substantial increase. How can that be when prices have surely still gone down since v19 came out?0
