Morning
It's lovely and sunny here today and I'm feeling quite lively.
Only a week till the end of Jan..and payday! My stretch target for Feb will be to kick the number under 2...exciting times
Spent an hour cleaning the kitchen so that's all nice for batch cooking tommorow and new groceries coming in. Managed to get all the dry clothes away too.
Decluttered a very old body lotion that no one uses and some baby information leaflets.
Son is at an activity morning till 1 then a climbing party this afternoon so just me OH and the baby which is so lovely.
Need to take back the library books to avoid fines plus we can get a free dvd with our points from borrowing 6 hires before hand.
Have a wonderful day all.

Morning all
Grandma day (again) today as DD2 is doing something with her students. Hoping she won't be late back.
So, very modest list today:
Put clean straw in the chickens nestbox (I wish they wouldn't sleep - and poo  in there!)
Ocado delivery arrived (so not a NSD) Grumpy driver today - last couple of times they have been a bit off
Perhaps I don't live in a posh enough road for their liking :rotfl:
Another dog walk (OH did the morning one as I was waiting for little GD to arrive)
HM meals - leftovers for supper today, and I have enough leftover pasta and cheese sauce for GD's lunchNot sure how hungry she will be as she got a packet of hot cross buns out of the shopping and ate one and a half :rotfl:
Finish putting shopping away - I bought lots of fruit and veg on offer, and I need to find space in the fridge for some of it.
See if anything needs using up, as I fancy making some soup - I know there is a leek, some odd looking celery and some carrots, so perhaps a veg soup with a turkey stock base
Perhaps take little GD to the library when she wakes up, depending on when that is - she awoke really early this morning apparently, and is really tired
Any surveys, FPL etc, but this will have to wait till GD goes home
Anything in addition to this will be a bonus
Happy Saturday everyone0 -

Am having a tidy house day & looking @ the bills so that we can go away for a night (already booked) with complete peace of mind. I'll clean the house tomorrow when DH is having long lie.

Pace my credit score has gone down too this month. Totally agree with it being a marketing ploy (probably as it's post Christmas). That advert where the couple "find" their neglected score in the attic and clean it up really annoys me! Another example of consumerist keeping up with the Jones's mentality. I wouldn't worry about it!02 0% £719.20 £649.26

Well I decided to get ahead of myself and do batch cooking for the week ahead today instead of tommorow. Have now got
4 x chilli portions. One tub is bigger so will do that for the 2 of us with rice and reserve the other box to do with jackets.
2 x portions of home made baked beans to have with cheese and chorizo.
Lasagne. We used 2 portions tonight for dinner and put 2 large in the fridge for another meal in the week.
I saved some of the home made betchemal sauce from the lasagne and will do bacon and leek pasta bake with that.
Still to do, leek and potato soup and a beef in gravy pot pie.
Oh plus froze 4 home made burgers for the freezer for son's dinners.
Hopefully this will save me a lot of time on week nights.
