  • Hi all. I have been a bit awol this month but have been here in spirit. Despite having to spend £185 at the vet January has been good financially. I always find February a hard month though. All the Christmas leftovers are used up and the freezer is bare. We have had a lot of Christmas treats to see us through January and now we need to get back into good eating habits. I am hoping to have a few days off at half term so will have to allow a bit of spending money for that.

We also need to find some money for new flooring in our little downstairs office. The vinyl flooring we put down about 8 years ago had got a tiny tear in it and one day the dog accidentally got shut in there. In his frustration he managed to rip the flooring to shreds before we heard him and rescued him! I would quite like to give the room a lick of paint too.

Ooh Jonno you have reminded me that my Mum gave me a fruit cake and I was going to freeze it as we are still eating up the Christmas cake. Off to do that now.
