    nsd yesterday, yipee!!x
  • On my shopping list at the moment is only eggs and a cucumber ,both of which I can do without for the moment as I have a third of one left in the fridge and three eggs,so I will hang on until midweek and I have a few more things that's needed.
NSD means I can do other things that interest me like knitting, reading, playing with my grandchildren ,much more fun than trailing miserably round shops :):):) plus hanging on to my pennies has become almost an 'art' to me :):):)
keep frugaling chums we are almost halfway through February already :):):)

Did anyone go for either of the £20 valentines meal deals offered this year by m&% or T8s0c I shop online with T8s0c and couldn't find the £20 valentines deal. I was going to have a look at the m&% deal today but I couldn't get anywhere near!
  • Hi,
    Eeeekkkkkk day.
DH in spend mood, suddenly from nowhere. £205.43. Includes lunch out, animal feed and diesel, but still..... Also another £100 for milkman (now 2 months ahead here as I forget so easier to do £100 every few months).
This is really showing me where our dosh goes. Not in debt, and the money is there, but want to keep a weather eye as I want to keep it that way!

We bought a £10 deal in Mr T, main, side, desert and wine but I think it was the usual one not a special valentine's day deal. The joy of taking DH shopping when I only needed chorizo, leeks, cabbage, breakfast sausage and a note pad for work!

We did pick up a good deal on Lurpak. I can't stand margarine and can't use the same tub as the rest of the family due to coeliac disease so this should last me months. DH picked up more snacks and some hand cream recommended by someone at work for his troublesome hands which was half price so we bought 2 and it is lovely stuff.

I now have £23.01 to last until the 29th. The fridge is full and the freezer is rammed and I have everything for the meal pan until the end of the first week of March. If we can keep out of the shops we could actually do this :)

Bread and scones didn't get made as I ran out of time before I had to leave for an appointment but will get done tomorrow.
