    Evening All,
Monday evening did my shop and spent £46.80 in Aldi and £14.23 in T's. Totally ran out of dishwasher tablets today so called into B&M for a large bag of 67 tablets and a packet of vegetable stock cubes and spent £8.98. Signature updated. Pleased with how I'm spending so far, just got to keep it up

    Hi,
Spent £45 on petrol today. Do others put this under groceries or have a car related category. Not really an expense I can avoid so maybe part of essential like bills??? Hmmmm?

Petrol is in my car budget :)

BTW - I don't have a dishwasher but months ago I read somewhere that you can use half a tablet a wash and it works just as well. Don't know if anyone wants to give it a try and save a few more pennies ??

Had another NSD today. We had HM lasagne (freezer) with tomato and onion salad, grated carrots and DH had some garlic bread.

Hope you all have a thrifty Thursday

  • Hi,
    NSD.
Off tomorrow then DD half term. Looking forward to it, but hols always seem to eat money!
Hopefully a couple of pj and DVD days which only cost a bit for cake making stuff ( she loves to cook which I'm chuffed about, training for being a grown up and making proper food not relying on junk)!
