Got 6 Sure deos as they were on offer and they're the only ones hubby & I use (general preference for him, but the only one I've ever found that stops me stinking! NOT lady-like.) Got 3 each...so that's us fresh as a daisy for the year at half the cost. :rotfl:
Also have Sains. delivery coming tomorrow with a £12 off and £3 off next shop voucher.
Just checked the cupboard/fridge/freezer stock against the monthly meal plan and we're on track. Week 1 almost complete. :T
Keep going everyone!0 -

Afternoon on this rainy and windy Saturday afternoon.
Quick update to say that I've spent £61.08 this past week (Mixture of Sainsbugs and Abel & Cole meat). I've already got £11.25 penned in for some more meat this week but I had a £4 off code.
Total so far is £114.43 with two weeks left. I need to do a cat food order so that will be another £30 odd.
Need to have a look through the small freezer as I'm forgetting what is in there. How long til pay day?
March Grocery Challenge - £69.54 / £3000 -
Well at the end of my first week I've spent £25.65. It's not too bad, in terms of the amount, but I'm annoyed with myself because at least a tenner of that was on non essentials. For such a tight month financially, I really need to be a little more organised to try and avoid the mid afternoon slump which invariably results in me buying a diet coke and a bag of crisps at work.0

Hi all
I've done my second week of shopping out of five. I had 375 for the month. Week one I spent 67.40 and week 2 I've spent 59.99 so I'm pleased with that. I haven't had a chance to read back so you may all be talking about this already bt I've seen lots of pics of the Asda wonky veg boxes and I'm impressed. I will see if I can get one, I only buy veg very cheaply from aldi anyway but I love the idea that this veg is being used and not being thrown by farmers. I think it will really take off.:beer:0 -
Went to Mr S tonight as DH wanted beer (he pays) and spent too much on snacks/sweets and on fruit because silly me forgot to order oranges and asked for 1 banana instead of 5 on the Mr T order and some wonder web but forgot the pencil sharpener I needed.
DH didn't have his wallet so I couldn't use his nectar points but used the £2.50 I had available on my card. The till spits were good to us and I got a 53p brand match and won 1000 nectar points. The best one though was an £18 off £60 shop for first delivery.
I have signed DH up with his nectar card and have swapped my order on Thursday from Mr T to Mr S. I couldn't get everything so would still spend £5.50 in Mr T on frozen veg but the order (less GF beer I pay for) comes to £64.53 after discounts
I will have almost £55 for fruit, milk, bread and any other bits and bobs to last until pay day on the 29thSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
