Not spent anything since last Friday and have planned and prepped tea but have a hair appointment today and will be at the shops. This is where I usually fail so am determined to come straight home instead of browsing.
Still plenty of food in the freezer and pantry so have no excuse to add to it really.

Morning all, I'm off work poorly with the dreaded lurgy ☹
However this does mean that I'm not spending any money!!
I've spent £3 of my budget so far:

    £1 mint sauce
    £2 for two tea towels

So am pleased so far! 😊
    First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
  • Went shopping last night and spent £61.72 at L1dls. I've also meal planned for the entire month and am using the meat in my freezer as I have so much. I also need to get some meals cooked up and frozen as I'm having an OP in a couple of weeks and need everything ready for when I get back!

Really found meal planning that far ahead has helped :-)

Off to update siggy now. Have a great afternoon x

Milk and yet more biccies last night so added £1.70.

Fabulous dinner too - Nigella L roast sweet potatoes, red onions and lamb leg steaks, very nice indeed. (Kids had fish! Not keen on any meat other than top quality chicken )

Which sm's are best for YS items? I have some Tesc vouchers so will probably use them this weekend...about £14 off (I will have to go online and find them, don't know where I've put the paper ones...)
    GC Feb 2019 (to 10th) £397.07/£300
  • £141.82 spent so far. Most of that is my monthly freezer fill-up from Mr O. Such a life saver as they bring it all in, and I'm packed away within 15 minutes. So much less stress and heavy lifting, and lots of good offers on meat-free products this month for DS. The rest of the month will be mainly small top ups of fresh milk, juice and fruit/veg.

I'm off to the shops tomorrow for my second weeks shop of this month. I've made my meal plan, written my list and am buying nothing that's not on it. My plan is lidl, farmfoods, home bargains then tesco if I haven't managed to get everything I need, then farm shop for a huge bag of tatties that will do the rest of the month.
I will update my spends tomorrow and hope their not horrendous
