SG I quite enjoy an afternoon at the hut……we tend to play card and board games between the kids dipping in the sea. The prices of them are scary though. Basically it’s a big wooden shed with a sink.😂😂😂….they go for more than we paid for our 3 bedroom house when we moved in 😳😳😳 As for dipping in the sea……said bit of sea was on tv last week and folk were complaining about sewage in it……along with lots of other places of course. Dd and sil swim and paddle board regularly though. Think it’d put me off 😏 I can’t walk over the pebbles anyway to get to the sea 🙄
Feeling cheesed off with the world today. I keep looking at the hole in the ceiling. We need a new shower and it’s only 5 years since we had all the bathroom done. And we need damp on the staircase wall sorting. Again we thought we’d sorted it and had it all replastered at the same time as the bathroom, but it’s as bad as ever again 😡 and we still need some plastering in the bedroom. I feel as if we’re taking 2 steps forward and one step back and getting nowhere fast. I always feel a bit down when I come back from dds and leave the kids though.
The outcome of feeling like this is I’ve eaten rubbish for the last couple of days… Need to up my game here.
Right then…….writing that pity party has given me the momentum to get onto a builder to see what can be done. Need to give myself a kick up the backside me thinks 😏😂

I don’t know many that have had work done recently Beanie. Still not had any comeback. We did ask the central heating man about the shower - Dh thought it was expensive at £200……and is talking about doing it himself 😳 - it’s at least £150 to buy the shower…..might have to work on him with that one 🙄January spends - £587.580

I’ve been getting pretty well with the crochet cardi/ jumper for my littlest gdd…..she is 5 and was looking at the pattern whilst I was there last week. She can’t decide which she likes best - the cardi or jumper. She was swayed by the colour of the cardigan until I explained I could make the jumper the same colour and not the grey of the pattern. Much discussion and thought is going into this decision 😂😂😂 She has also decided she’d like some alterations….with white bits - her mum turned her nose up at this 😂😂😂 but it’s for gdd so I’ll do whatever she finally decides. I’ve told her I’ll message for the final decision once I’ve done the back and sleeves. She also wanted a go at crochet but has the attention of a goldfish 😀 and her left handedness against my right handedness……not an easy combination at all.So in a bit to amuse myself and for something different a local wool shop does one off courses. There’s a crochet style called corner to corner - I quite fancy having a go. I could probably teach myself from t’internet but I think I’m going to treat myself to a class. You get the wool for a scarf and tuition and an evening out with refreshments. I need a project and a project with people involved. I think that’s what im missing - the people from work 😏January spends - £587.582
