We are really looking forward to our next visit in July.

We have both said that we wished we could have taken off the time to go to Suffolk in Milo away from this long bank holiday weekend but a lack of annual leave has meant we will be joining the massive queues of traffic 

We are setting off tomorrow night to make some in roads into the trip down there. We have a riverside car park in mind to spend tomorrow evening. We have a plan B in mind though for if that car park is full.

I went for the induction with the fancy machinery. I was very impressed…..apparently if you believe the hype- there are only 6 gyms that have this equipment in the country and it is the only place in our greater town 😏 not convinced I believe it but it was good. The proof will be in the pudding when I go back on my own. Hopefully they don’t put the membership fees up too much to pay for it all 😳
I was quite impressed that he weighed me with the all singing and dancing scales they have there. I actually weigh less than I did when I was last weighed 3 years ago….however the visceral fat around my organs was more - still within normal range but the higher end. He told me to make another appointment to weigh in 4 weeks….I have lost a couple of centimetres in height though 😳 think I might measure my height at home as he said he also measured short.
I called in Aldi and B&M on the way home……another £30…..it’s been a spendy old month.
The sun was shining on my way home so I’d anticipated doing a bit in the garden but it’s absolutely chucking it down again with black clouds a plenty.

I’ve been for a swim using my gym membership. When I looked at the app last night which all the info from the fancy scales, I got was bit of a shock my ‘body age’ when I last measured 3 years ago was younger than my actual age……this time it was 15 years older than my actual age 😳😳😁 I know it’s only basically for fun and to make you think….it certainly did that 😂👍

1st spends of May….£5 on jam, cream and flour to make scones to take to dd and leave for a neighbour who looks after our fish whilst we are away.

Lots of the neighbours have been putting bunting and flags up. It hadn’t crossed my mind so when I was in Aldi I bought a couple of carrier bags with union flags on. Cut them out and voila……a couple of flags in the bedroom window…..not sure if they were 10 or 20 p each 🇬🇧🇬🇧😁😁

I’m not sure why I bothered as we won’t be here for the weekend Beanie. 

I baked some scones to take with us to dds tomorrow. It’ll be an early start. I’d debated going into town to see one of the beacons being lit tonight but decided it’d be too late…..I’ve been waking up before 5 every morning recently……you watch I’ll sleep in tomorrow and we’re being picked up at 6 am. 

A spendy today, day as I bought train tickets to Bath next month….I went to the station with my friend and we ended up sharing a bottle of wine in a nearby pub s garden to celebrate the queens 70 years….seemed like a good enough excuse 😂🇬🇧👍 It’s the first time I’ve really walked…..about 5 minutes and I could hardly put my foot on the floor again, I wasn’t impressed. I’ll dose myself up at dds as I want to walk by the sea 🤞
