Just had a phone consultation with the physio I’m booked in with her at my GP surgery in 3 weeks. She seems lovely- the X-ray results hadn’t filtered through yet though. She also recommended some ‘stay steady’ classes run at the leisure centre at the corner if my road, so I need to look into that.
I had intended beginning painting the fence but it’s been raining this morning. I’ll go out in a while and see how dry the fence is. It might be ok as it looks windy.January spends - £587.581 -
I sat on my stool and painted a couple of fence panels yesterday afternoon. The sun came out and it was a lovely.I’d hoped to carry on today but it’s not stopped raining again and doesn’t look as if it’s going to 😏 There’s loads I should be doing but my get up and go has gone. Still can’t put much weight on my ankle….getting mightily fed up with it now.January spends - £587.581

Just had a lovely surprise….the postman has brought me drawings from littlest granddaughter. Dd had said she was missing me and wanted to send a picture ❤️ We are going over the jubilee weekend. I was going to stay at home but it’s been a while since we saw them so they’ve asked us to go down for a street party. Wish they were closer 😏January spends - £587.582

Aw that’s so sweet. I wish we lived nearer to ours. They’re only 25 miles away, near but so far when we don’t have transport.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I’ve not had any spends since Sunday - one advantage of the dodgy ankle and not being able to walk far. I actually dug a pair of old crutches out yesterday as I’d played with the idea of going to see my brother…..decided against it in the end. He is going in for an op on Tuesday and is getting a tad anxious but decided if he sees me hobbling it could add to his anxiety. He has been waiting for this op for over 2 years…..even got as far as going in for it, but they sent him home as his stats weren’t good enough to proceed. Fingers crossed it goes ahead this time.I had every intention of painting another fence panel but it’s been piddling down and too wet. Hopefully it’ll brighten up and I can get out later.January spends - £587.581

Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh 😡😡😡😡 I’ve just wasted an afternoon trying to do some on line frogs. I’ve had some receipts to send to SimplyHealth…..I tried a while ago and couldn’t do it so waited for Dh to help. Today was the day….. He couldn’t figure it either - so ended up phoning them and asking them to send good old fashioned paper claim forms out….apparently there’s been a glitch on line 😡😡 so it wasn’t us being thick 😏
Then…….I wanted to get some Premium Bonds…..it seemed a simple enough task to register. I typed my chosen password- between 8 and 20 characters including a number and capital letter…..copied it exactly into the confirmation box……got Dh to check it. All was correct but PB wouldn’t accept it…..kept insisting they didn’t match…..so I changed it……still wouldn’t accept it. Changed it again NO JOY……I’m fast loosing the will to live and computer very lucky not to be out of the window. This took me well over an hour and I’ve still not in possession of said premium bonds 😡😡😡 I can only presume there is also a glitch on the PB site as we both checked several times but it just wasn’t having it.
I tried to get breakdown cover……couldn’t find where Dh details went. Ended up phoning and doing that over the phone👍I did pay my cc in full on line with no hassles 😁😁😁
I want to open a savings account but want a building with real people to actually go into and open said account…….I’m not going to do it on line. Anyway the best in my local town seems to be the establishment started by a fellow called Richard who has the same name as a pickle that goes nicely with cheese. Think I’ll hobble along there next week some time as my current account gives diddly squat for the bit of cash I have in there…..might as make it work for me.
So a wasted afternoon of messing on line 😡😡😡😡😳January spends - £587.580 -
The PB thing will be no script or something like that. I had the same trouble a while ago. You need to make something on the site trusted when it is now default/blocked. I get it on the lottery site too when I am trying to buy tickets.
