I’m afraid if MrEH is snoring to the extent that I can’t sleep then he definitely does get woken! It’s for his own good - if he’s snoring then more than likely he’s not getting the best quality sleep so by waking him and encouraging him to move into a better position I’m actually looking out for him, really….honest! 😜

Had a few busy days. Pottering in the garden over weekend and planting my garden centre purchases in pots. I’d forgotten how much I love doing this…..still got more to do. I visited ds, who cooked a delicious paella. Then this morning I got a tram ticket into the big city near to me and visited M&S where I spent my voucher. I bought 2 tops and a cardigan - I did need to add a tenner. From there I went to the lingerie department and bought the underwear I’d been promising myself for at least a year. I’d bought a cheaper bra a while ago from Primani……i didn’t like it at all. So hopefully good old M&S will be as good as usual - even though they’ve changed the design of my favourite bra.
I took a sandwich with me and bought a take away tea. I really enjoyed my picnic sitting in one of the ‘squares’ in town. There was a guy singing, complete with speakers - just so it travelled miles……he sang songs from Les Mis…Elvis…Adele. All the big ballads. I don’t think he sang a note in tune 😂😂😂…..bless, I strongly suspect he had some sort of difficulty. It amused me watching people’s reactions to him….mostly they were kind 👍
To make the most of my day tram ticket, I visited my brother. It’s been a good while since I’ve actually seen him but we speak regularly. He didn’t look good and has finally got a date for an op he’s been waiting for. The sooner the better I think.
The email from my cousin has arrived but I’ve not opened it yet. I’d half an idea of listening to it with my brother today…..but he wasn’t well enough. Don’t think he’d have coped listening to whoever is on the tape. So since I need a chilled afternoon tomorrow I’ll open it then.
Ive tossed and turned again tonight  as I couldn’t get comfortable- I can’t lie on my hip at all now. Thankfully I’m going in as a day patient tomorrow for another steroid injection…so it should improve again. I’ve come downstairs to watch catch up Corrie. Then I’d better go and try to sleep as my appointment is 8 am tomorrow.

My appointment was at 8 this morning and I wasn’t seen until 10.30. They are usually on the ball and see you within 10 minutes as it’s a private hospital…..Im an NHS patient though - but I’ve never waited before. Anyway it’s done now. It cost me £6 for a taxi back home. That takes my May spends to £450. I need to reign in after my day out yesterday. I was very pleased to sport my new pants though…..gives an edge of confidence when lying flat with a doctor using you like a pin cushion. 😉 So today will be an easy day - it’s ok to walk around the house but nothing excessive and no driving. Doctors orders to take it easy…..I not going to argue with that.
I’m going to try to listen to the tape my cousin sent so could well be a tad emotional. I want to make a couple of phone calls too.

Boo to the long wait. I hope the tape brings back some happy memories.
