Thanks everyone. It went well. No horrid prep to take beforehand and just gas and air - no drugs. Doc was lovely and made perfect sense and is one of the only docs to link some of the illnesses including the spinal bleed, I have had with a condition I’ve had all my life. I’ve suspected it was all connected but had it poo poohed by most consultants. It was the first thing he said to me. There was just one other doc who said it was probably linked…..but this one was definite. Anyway he couldn’t get the camera as far as he wanted so has requested a CT scan and taken biopsies…..he’s 95% sure it’s linked with the surgery but wants to rule anything sinister out 100%.
It was a glorious day so I walked home, looking at spring flowers in peoples gardens and parks. I thought they were going to make me ring Dh for a lift but I hadn’t had any nasty drugs so they said I could make my own way 👍 I took it easy and sat in a couple of parks…..I was going to go in a cafe but would have only been doing it for the sake of it as I had tea and biscuits after the procedure. I’ve chilled all afternoon. It was fascinating watching it on the screen and it gave me the wake up call I need. Listening to him talk and point out things has made me realise just how susceptible I am by carrying extra weight and putting more pressure on my arteries. We had a bit of a laugh though…..they gave me massive paper shorts with a slit up the back……don’t think they’ll catch on 😂😂 So that’s it…..just got to wait for the biopsie results and CT scan to be followed up now 👍January spends - £587.583 -
Glad that's over.

Thanks Beanie they were all lovely tbh…..just one lady I couldn’t understand - she had a strong accent and a mask - that coupled with my hearing didn’t make for a good combination. She got a bit ratty when I kept asking her to repeat herself. The consultant was amazing though.I’d have usually stopped to treat myself to cake and coffee somewhere en route home but the pictures on the screen made me realise it just wasn’t a good idea…..I didn’t want them but I would have previously done so to reward myself 😏January spends - £587.583
