I went upstairs to start tidying but ended up coming back down and chilling…..washing is in the machine but that’s it. I’ve got no energy. I’ll chill for a bit then go back up - can of polish in hand and Hoover ready and waiting 😃
I’ve got a shelf of random home made frozen meals so am using them up before another cooking session, probably when we come back from Cornwall at the end of the month. I’ve on Jamie Oliver’s pulled pork and beans Dh has a bag of something dubious looking which has lost its label that ds gave him……either a hot curry or chilli but rice will accompany everything 😂😂 so a nice easy tea 😁
Low spends planned for today, milk should stretch until tomorrow, but I might have to get bread.January spends - £587.582 -

Dh has just popped in with another dozen eggs from his bosses chickens. They are away for a couple of months so hopefully we will have a few more over the next few weeks 😁January spends - £587.582

Nothing quite like a really fresh egg. So eggs for breakfast lunch & tea then!

Yes it’s been eggs with everything for a few weeks now. We’ve been taking them when Dh goes to see to the chickens and bosses son is taking them when he goes, busy little chickens.
I’m out with a friend today…..that’ll be the 4th time I’ve eaten out this week…..I’ve tried to choose wisely and cheaply (I have been treated too ) but not expecting a weightloss tomorrow. I’m not saying no to invitations though….as long as I can afford - cheap and cheerful all the way though - and an am well enough I’m making the most of any chances I get 😁👍
I was gutted yesterday. Mum in law bought ds a pot teddy (she was teddy mad🐻) the Christmas before she passed away, that stands (stood) by the front door amid my flower pots. In the high winds a week or so ago, I brought it in. Yesterday I went to put it back out and dropped it……it’s foot is shattered. Hopefully it will be able to be patched up but it’s not looking hopeful. 😥
I was looking for a craft item I bought at an extortionate price many years ago. I can’t find it for love nor money. It’s a good while since I used it… it has sat on the shelf in my bedroom for years….I’ve got all the dies that go with it but can’t find the actual machine. It’s a big, red, heavy appliance so I can’t have thrown it away by mistake. My task over the next few days is to go through the spare room with a fine tooth comb to find it 🤔🤔🤔
