Thanks Hairy. I know how hard it is to pass these assessments. My sister in law had one….she’d had a hip replacement and the date to go in for her knee replacement…..she could barely put her foot on the floor and they said she was fit for work. It is what it is…..I can’t go back to work. So we will manage whatever the outcome.
The place I walk is about a 10 minute walk from home. It’s right on a motorway junction. I’ve done dead on 10,000 steps walking there and back and part way around the grounds on the paths that weren’t muddy😁 It is an old hall which is now offices. The grounds have recently had a bit of a facelift. There’s a couple of small lakes there. In a rainy period the waterfall looks lovely if you angle the camera not to get fallen logs and rubbish but in the summer if it’s dry can be rather smelly and overrun with midges 😏 They’ve made an old people’s home in the grounds too which sounds lovely but my neighbour went in there a few years ago when it opened and hated it…..said it had no heart although it was a brand new all singing and dancing building in beautiful grounds. It is a nice place to walk to, it’s none particularly big but there are a lot of different paths around it and a little outdoor cafe where I went for a cuppa and toastie. Pity they don’t have an active friends group.

😡 to your SIL's assessment, there's no common sense used sometimes.
It's good to have somewhere nice to walk that's close by as pounding the pavements is no fun. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Just had a 20 minute chat with someone from ESA……I expected a doctor but it was a physio. He seemed nice enough, he only wanted to talk about the stoma and said he had all the info he needed about the other conditions I have as I’d sent doctors reports in and they’d contacted my GP. So it’s a matter of waiting for the results which he said could take up to 6 weeks…watch this space.
I’d had porridge and raspberries for breakfast but was very unsettled waiting for the phone call and was mooching and picking around the kitchen. I decided to toast a cinnamon bagel……I don’t even like them….it did the trick…..as soon as I buttered it the phone rang. Never fails 😂😂😂😂 I didn’t eat it and will relax now, I can’t do anymore so eating my weight in carp won’t change anything - time to reign it in 😏👍
I’ve pulled the contents of my drawers and cupboard next to my chair out……it doesn’t seem long since I sorted it but it’s stuffed full of useful stuff and unfiled paperwork that’s my job for today…..sort it out. I won’t be venturing out anywhere until the ice melts 😏January spends - £587.584 -
Fingers crossed for a good result for you. Sounds like it should be one though3

I don't blame you for not braving the ice, I'm not a fan of ice and I don't have your delicate bones.
Good luck with the decluttering. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
