Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

Not much going on in milannland. It’s poured down all day and been very dark…..until about an hour ago when the sun put in an appearance between clouds…..just in time for it to go dark.
Another day of no spends so my January spends are still £1 but I need to do some shopping soon as we’re running out of a few things. I’m impressed I’ve resisted the shops for so long 😁January spends - £587.585 -

I stocked up before Christmas……just in case anything like a positive Covid result meant we had to stay at home over Christmas, then between Christmas and New Year I visited Costco and shared some big multi packs of things with ds…..so I’m pretty well stocked up. In normal times I’d have probably been into town several times and had a coffee and mooch around the sales but I’ve not really wanted to go out……which is a tad crazy as I’m fully vaccinated. I very nearly didn’t bother going to Slimming World yesterday but I gave myself a good talking to and went. It’s not like me to want to stay in like this 😳 The wet or icy weather hasn’t helped much either…..doesn’t entice the thought of a walk 😏
We should be going to ds tomorrow but I’ve just been reading that there could well be a rolling protest on the motorway near me as a protest to a pollution tax on some vehicles being brought in over summer. Don’t think I want to get caught up in it so if we go we will check and maybe go the long way around…….January spends - £587.581 -

Beanie there were a lot of people at SW and everyone was as spaced out as possible and we had to wear masks unless we were eating or drinking. After the first minute or so I forgot and relaxed. Same as when I went with my friend from work…..I reasoned she hadn’t been is school for 2 weeks and the pub was virtually empty - we had an area to ourselves.
I was saying to dh today - we’d probably have gone around the shops and for a meal somewhere but neither of us wanted to go out unnecessarily……wish this virus would just do one…..think I’m more aware now than I’ve ever been 😳January spends - £587.582 -
We are the same. You start to weigh up if going somewhere is ‘worth it’.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Beanie I think it’s more to do with the rules of the building which is used for quite a few community based health groups more than SW rules…..January spends - £587.582
