Lovely! Can you get a small pull out step and some grab bars installed somehow? You don’t want to keep suffering getting in and out. I’m sure there’ll be a solution. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

We can’t get a pull out step on this model by do have a separate step we can use. I think it’s just steps in general atm…..it’s the same when I go upstairs in the house WW. It’s the steroid injection wearing off. It doesn’t help that I can’t take anti inflammatory meds anymore. It is what it is and won’t stop me enjoying my new toy 😁👍January spends - £587.582

I need to get myself organised for Christmas. The one present I’d bought and knew my gdd would be thrilled with has turned into a no go. She had the same present bought by someone for her birthday last week……so I’ll need to send mine back - and I’ve thrown the box out 😫 can’t get my Christmas mojo - even after visiting the lovely Christmas market in York at weekend. I need to have a couple of days shopping and mooching around without dh or ds. So I’m going to head into big city near me and have a rummage and then a day at the big shopping mall. My own town shops didn’t give me many ideas.January spends - £587.581

Have you checked there isn't a draft from somewhere in the van & that the seat is at a good angle. In my friends car I have to have a pillow down the back of the seat otherwise my neck/head is pushed too far forward. I also often sit on a hot water bottle to keep any draft off my lower back. I wouldn't have thought a one off action would have done it unless you are really straining.

Thanks Badmemory. We changed the angle of the seat when we got in and as far as I could tell there weren’t any drafts. The hip is an ongoing problem👍January spends - £587.580

Not much to report today. Lazy, boring day really. Lots I could have done but I didnt.I did get in touch with my old SW consultant and am going back to my old group where I know a lot of the people on Saturday. I’ll have to miss some weeks if I go away in the van but I like the consultant and the people and will visit another group if need be. I’m heavier now than before I ever went to SlimmingWorld and I’ve tried doing my own thing but can’t……
I think I might get the tram and go Christmas shopping tomorrow somewhere…depends on the weather 😏January spends - £587.581 -
So after a bit of a bleugh day yesterday I’ve given myself the proverbial kick up the backside…..I’ve found I’m fine when I’ve got a project to do but drift far too easily into sitting in front of the tv when I haven’t 😏 So this morning I watched a bit of catch up tv whilst having breakfast, turned the tv off and put the camping table up in the gks bedroom which is where my craft stash is and I’ve spent a lovely couple of hours listening to the radio and making Christmas cards. I only made half a dozen as I got way layed rediscovering all the stash I’d forgotten I ever had. I’m going to walk into town to the big Hobby store……method in the madness…..I can only buy what I can carry when I’m walking, which isn’t a lot 👍 I want some Merry Christmas stickers and will see what children’s craft they have for Christmas presents.January spends - £587.581
