EssexHebridean said:BM That's interesting about the 5 months thing - I've not looked into it any more since, but that would bring MrEH forwards to next month, which would be good. We'll have to have a look.
I confess I've also been a little bewildered about people in the care sector complaining about being told they need the jab - I had presumed that the clue is in the name "care" sector, and that those working in it would - care, that is. Allowing that I have an extremely clinically vulnerable father, and Great Aunt, and a vulnerable mother and in-laws, it is nothing other than a relief to think that hopefully if people in that sector choose to walk rather than get jabbed, that means less chance of my loved ones coming into contact with them. Just as long as they fall into the heading of "made themselves voluntarily jobless" when the benefits queue beckons...
If you don't care enough to be jabbed then you are in the wrong job.
Just my personal opinion.

I understood you could book a slot at 5 months but in advance, still meaning 6 months between jabs but hadn’t realised it was for over 50s. TBH I hadn’t paid that much attention….just knew I was going to get mine as soon as I was well enough.
Please can I go back to work for a rest 😂😂😂
Bedroom has been done, everything in its rightful place 😁 - except the bedding which will be washed tomorrow. All the windows have been cleaned except the hall and landing….which Dh will do as I can’t reach. Everywhere has been hoovered. Brass ornaments have been polished. It’s looking quite sparkly now…..I need to do the hall, landing and the utility room when we come back from York it’s been a bit if a storage area for caravan stuff we’ve been collecting so once that is in its home in the van I will tackle it 👍 Then I’m Christmas spring cleaned and I’ll get on with doing some crafts. 👍👍👍 and just have a quick tidy from now on 😁😁😁 I’m totally done in and didn’t make it to get my train tickets 😏January spends - £587.580 -

There definitely needs to be even more reminders that you can still transmit it, even if you have no symptoms yourself, after the vaccine but the window for transmission is so much shorter the jab is definitely making a massive difference - and in a care environment of course the other precautions should still be in place too which makes it a the more important really.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Beanie….I forgot that bit…..I’m totally done in…..aching everywhere but sometimes it’s just got to be done….things we’re getting on top of me and beginning to bug me. I’d have been better off going swimming 😂😂😂 I think I’m doing ok then it comes and bites me on the bum when I’m not expecting it 😏
Dh still isn’t in from work…..it really annoys me when he’s expected to do long days like this. He’s been out since 7 this morning…..but he’s his own worse enemy and is happy to carry on until the job is finished. Hope it’s not 11 pm like it was a while ago 😡January spends - £587.582 -
Dh walked in at 11.59 last night. I wasn’t amused - he looked shattered……his boss is lovely but does take advantage of his good nature 😡
I’ve just dropped him off at the train station so he can get the motorhome 😁😁 I bought my train tickets to go to dds too whilst I was there👍Bedding is in the washing machine. I do like coming home to a shiny clean home and clean sheets - dh laughs at me and says I’m tidying for the burglars……I hope not 😵💫
im planning a lazy morning- not sure what time he will arrive home with it…..I’m expecting about 3 pm.January spends - £587.581 -
Happy motorhome day
I'm the same and always clean the house before we go away1 -

Dh still isn’t home with the motorhome……he is driving home the scenic route rather than the motorway…..I should have bought a train ticket and gone with him 😏
😳😳😳I’ve just been messing about looking at the weather forecast. Next Thursday we have booked a meal at the pub where we saw the Halloween decorations. It’s a ride away in the next county where it’s quite hilly. There’s double snowflakes there best part of the day 😳😳 hope we don’t get snowed in…..we might have to keep our eye on things and change location if it stays the same. I know it’ll be the end of November but I’m not ready for the white stuff……January spends - £587.581
