Don’t tempt me Beanie 😂😂
Enjoy your stir fry SA
I had chicken in garlic mushroom sauce, leftovers from the freezer with pasta. Ohhhh and half a packet of malted milk biscuits. I had the other half yesterday 😏
Dh arrived in about 8 so although it was late could have been a lot worse.
I’ve had a phone call from the Vaccine centre to find out why I haven’t had my booster so I told them I’d had a chest and throat infection. He was very helpful and I’m booked in at a church a couple of miles away for 1st December 👍 I just heard him say he was from Covid…..and had a mini panic - I thought he was from track and trace….(does that still exist?) telling me to isolate……wouldn’t it just be Sod’s law that we’ve waited 7 months for the motorhome and the weekend it arrives I have to isolate……oooooohhhhh……I shouldn’t tempt fate with my luck 😂😂😂January spends - £587.580 -
I love malted milk biscuits - they're much under-rated IMO!
Good news that you have your booster booked - now they have extended to under 50's both MrEH and I will be getting one but not for a while yet - he can get his in January I think, unless they reduce the current 6 month guidance at all. Mine will be a little later as I had a delay on mine due to having to wait for a Pfizer jab.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I hadn’t realised they’d extended the jabs to over 50’s, must have missed that. Makes sense to me to get everyone jabbed. It’s only the fact that I’ve been off colour since I got the notification that I haven’t had it done.
This morning I cancelled my gym session. My hip was playing up last night and has had a slight protest. I’ve learned from last time when I ended up with a stress fracture in it that I need to listen to my body and get the right balance. So for a while I’m going to keep to 2 sessions a week, not 3. I did get up and start sorting my bedroom out, which for some reason has become a dumping ground since dd went home. Just nipped down and waiting for the dryer to finish so that I can put things straight away - not in a pile on my dressing table 😵💫
I want to generally tidy the whole house….I’ve blitzed various rooms lately but then neglected the places I’d already done whilst concentrating on the new place. Today I want to bring it all together and get it all looking ok……it’s not that bad so shouldn’t take too long. I have to have it clean and tidy before we go away at weeekend. Then I’ll walk over to the train station to get my ticket to got to dds in December 😁January spends - £587.582 -
I'm sure I remember reading that as long as it is 5 months since your second jab anyone can book their booster. They are getting desperate to get as many as possible jabbed. I am triple jabbed but I sometimes wonder what my reaction would be to being told I would be fired if I didn't. I am a bit of a stroppy cow, so I have a nasty feeling that I might turn round & tell them where to put their job & go off & earn more elsewhere. A carrot works much better than a stick. They are talking about bonus for staying, what about a bonus for having the jab plus paid days off for recovery.

BM I remember my first job was in a hospital and even back then I wasn’t allowed to work until I’d have various vaccinations so it isn’t a new thing that folk have to be jabbed for work….just a new condition they’re vaccinating against.January spends - £587.581

BM That's interesting about the 5 months thing - I've not looked into it any more since, but that would bring MrEH forwards to next month, which would be good. We'll have to have a look.
I confess I've also been a little bewildered about people in the care sector complaining about being told they need the jab - I had presumed that the clue is in the name "care" sector, and that those working in it would - care, that is. Allowing that I have an extremely clinically vulnerable father, and Great Aunt, and a vulnerable mother and in-laws, it is nothing other than a relief to think that hopefully if people in that sector choose to walk rather than get jabbed, that means less chance of my loved ones coming into contact with them. Just as long as they fall into the heading of "made themselves voluntarily jobless" when the benefits queue beckons...🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I could understand the whole forcing people thing if it meant they couldn't pass it on but even after being jabbed you can still be infectious. I think the problem with so many being double & tripled jabbed is that they seem to think they can't get it so they are careless. Just look how few wear a mask even when they are asked to.
