We considered just using bedding but it’s the thought of trying to tuck a bottom sheet that I’m not relishing. We just used to throw a double bag on the bed in the caravan. Might try it to see how it goes RS 👍January spends - £587.581

If you put your flour in the freezer when you buy it it kills any weevil eggs that might be lurking. I'm not sure how long you need to leave it in there for but mines in there for ages because I forget it's there. No weevils in my flour since starting to do this. I also keep it all in sealed plastic boxesOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8940

I’d read that OBL when I was researching but I’d be hard pushed to get anything in my freezer atm…….which was my incentive to clean and defrost it yesterday. I threw my plain flour out as I’d had it in a while, it looked ok but not worth the chance, but my SR looked ok and I haven’t had it long. I also read about using vinegar….but couldn’t remember which sort. I had cider vinegar in so have wiped down every day with a solution of this.I’ve sniffled and had a runny nose all night. I’ve dosed myself with cold and flu tablets and messaged my friend and brother to tell them I won’t be going for a coffee or bowling 😢 I was looking forward to it. No good going near others though…..my immune system is obviously picking things up atm and I don’t want to spread the germs around.
Hopefully I’ll be ok to see The Drifters on Sunday evening after a couple of days medication and rest🤞January spends - £587.580 -

I’ve done nothing today. I’ve felt rubbish….my throat never fully cleared and I’m coughing more again so not sure if this cold is the next stage of what I’ve had the antibiotics for or a new bug 🤔 All I want to do is eat……what’s that old saying? Feed a cold and starve a fever.
We pick the van up on Thursday and we get the free weekend in Wales which is in quite a countrified area….we have realised that we can take the 2 free nights anytime in the next year, so we will take it in the summer months and have booked a couple of nights in York. It’s not on the site we’ve stayed in before which is right in the centre - that was fully booked - but about 3 miles outside. There is more to do in York than Wales at this time of year. If there are any problems with the van they can come to York and sort it….I’m not expecting there to be 🤞🤞🤞 - there better not be after the money we’ve paid for it. We did get a good deal though as the price has gone up a fair bit since we ordered it. Dh paid for it today…..I do wonder what his mum would be thinking, as it was her money. She wouldn’t spend a penny…..had a lovely gentleman friend who wanted her to travel with him but she couldn’t justify the spends…..wish she would have. I’m pleased we’ve bought something we’d never have been able to get without it and have something to show. We did think for quite a while that we’d never see it - we were so very nearly scammed out of it 😡😡

Oh poor you - I hope your lurgy is not the start of something new. ☹️How exciting though about the van - bet you can't wait till Thursday. Taking the free nights during the summer sounds sensible though. When have you booked to stay in York? Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
