Milann I’m with you on rattling in vehicles driving me mad - I sit them pressing every panel to try to make it stop!Glad you have the motorhome and you love it!
If you drove round in your kitchen there would be a few rattles though so it isn't any great surprise1 -
We have just arrived home after a lovely trip in Milly the Motorhome. We arrived Friday afternoon and spent a while getting used to all the gadgets and what buttons worked what. A quick bus ride to York Christmas Market and then bus back to Milly. The first night I tossed and turned as the bed seemed very hard but our mattress at home is quite soft and quite a few years old now. Slept much better the 2nd night. Ds met us at the campsite on Saturday and had a look around the van then we all went into York again….a mooch and couple of pub breaks to warm up before he took us back to the van. We had a very lazy evening as I was shattered and so was dh. Dh phoned his boss and tried to take tomorrow as holiday so we could go somewhere else another night but they had a job booked in - it was worth a try 😏 We didn't want to come straight home so drove to Scarborough and had a quick walk along the sea front. It was a tad blowy out there. We warmed up snacks in the van and ate them by the side of the sea watching the waves roll in. We’ve seen rainbows and a beautiful sunset today. It is so much easier than when we had our old caravan. I will post a photo but for some reason my phone photos haven’t come through to my I pad.
We did sort a lot of the rattles by wrapping the grill pan in t-towels and the same with cutlery. We packed the cupboards so nothing could move about so I can live with it now. We also folded a towel and but it on top of the hob so they bit didn’t rattle. I can’t get in through the cab entrance…..i literally can’t lift myself up the step but can usually manage the side entrance which is lower and walk through. Although after our short walk by the sea when I was tired I had to crawl in……at least I gave someone a laugh 😂😂 I’m ok when we’re on site as I use an extra step we have in place.January spends - £587.581 -

Good news you enjoyed your first trip out. You’ll get used to the rattle in time and you won’t even notice it after a while.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Glad to hear that you have had a good first trip.
I struggle to get in the cab door on ours as well. I've only got short legs. I normally use the hab door instead. It's a lot lower down.1 -
Good to hear all went well with Milly .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

Not the best photo but the one I took yesterday on my phone isn’t transferring to my I pad and I haven’t got MSE on my phone.
I’ve just emptied and given her a clean inside. It didn’t take long. Other than that I’ve had a lazy day. My throat still isn’t right - I thought I was going to loose my voice again in York when I’d been talking all day…..it’s still going croaky a lot.I’m not swimming today or tomorrow as my arm and hip are really playing up too. I’ll see how I feel on Wednesday. Not sure if it’s the cold weather or my hip is complaining about getting in and out of the motorhome……if it’s the latter it’ll just have to get used to it😵💫January spends - £587.583 -
It looks lovely. Just think of all the places you can go to, so much to look forward to 😀I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
