Good news on the work front I think garden furniture is very expensive this year but then again everything seems to be more expensive0

I’d hoped to do a bit in the garden but it’s rained over night and is just drizzly out there. I’ve got itchy feet and need to do something - not sure what though…..might drag dh out for a walk into town.Tea is using up from the freezer. I want to do a big shop over weekend to restock.A NSD today so far 👍January spends - £587.580

Ended up going to IKEA….not my local one but a 45 minute drive away. The website said they had low stock of the chair I want outside. They had non left by the time we got there he only other place that might have some is the Exeter store……about a 300+ miles away - sold out everywhere. I’ll have to wait until they get more stock in next year. We can carry on doing everything else for my shady nook though. The ride out was what I needed and I got some more storage trays for my spices to save the hassle of adding extra shelves to my kitchen cupboard- dh hasn’t got around to sorting it so he doesn’t need to now…..worth £2.50 each 😀January spends - £587.580

Is it available online? I didn’t realise you could order online from IKEA until the other day. Our nearest one is miles away.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

No SA - it said you could then asked for my postcode to see if they were available in my area….they weren’t. They are the same as the ones I’ve just painted which we’ve had about 10 years. After we got the original chairs we decided we wanted a table to match…went back when we could afford it and they’d sold out. They got them back in the following Eastertime. They seem to get the garden stuff in Spring but run it down by summer ready for stocking Christmas stuff 😳
The plastic wicker sofa I have will do this summer but it’s going brittle and strands are just snapping. The little table top has totally disintegrated as the glass top must have magnified the sun to make it very brittle…..thought we’d bagged a bargain but it only lasted 3 years 😲 what’s that saying- buy cheap, buy twice 😏😲January spends - £587.581 -
Wish I had known you were going.

I didn’t know I was going until about 5 minutes before I went Beanie. We were moving things around in the garden - looked online to see if they had any chairs as the ones we have in a different area looked ok when we tried them in my shady nook to be. They said they had a low stock 45 minutes away - everywhere else except Exeter was sold out so we thought we’d try and get a couple from the low stock. It wasn’t to be. There is one a few minutes away from my ds house so we often pop in there.January spends - £587.580
