Food plan looked good......if only I’d kept to it. Started well with breakfast and dinner. Just grazed all day 😒 me thinks I’m throwing my cash down the drain with SlimmingWorld.
I'm going to try swimming sometime this week. I’ll start with half lengths. I had to do this after my tummy surgery last time. I’ll feel a bit conscious but I did it last time and can do it again.
I phoned the GP for a sick not - why do secretaries always make me feel guilty 😒 she made a point of telling me I’d had a lot of sick notes - as if I wasn’t aware - and the doc would probably need to speak to me before they’d write another one. I’d go and see them if they’d let me....not my fault there’s a pandemic and you can’t get to see a doctor 😳

People like that should not work in GP's surgeries.

Doctors receptionists seem to be a special breed. It’s like they find the most bossy candidates, totally lacking in empathy or understanding and think you’ll be perfect to talk to ill, worn down, distressed and worried people, when can you start? I’m sure they can’t all be like that, but they so often are 😖

I’m so annoyed. I’ve made a pram cover for my next year neighbour- quite enjoyed making it. Baby is due later this year. I finished it yesterday- washed and dried it and the wool has gone so fluffy - I’d never forgive myself if I gave it to a new born and they choked on the fluff. Serves me right for getting cheaper wool rather than baby wool.

I’ve used Aran wool before and it’s never gone so fluffy. Lol my littlest gdd had her eye on it so I can guess where it’ll end up.
I’ve  been re-sorting all the toys into the right boxes after the visit last week and folded the beds back up. I’m not quite sure what I was thinking when I got Sylvanian Families  when we already had barbie, polly pocket and play mobile 😳 which all have tiny bits. They did enjoy playing with them though and tidied them in a fashion......I just like them all in their rightful boxes ready for them to mix up next time 😲😂😂
I’ve not even christened tea as dh might be working late to finish a job. I need to pop to Morrison’s and my get up and go has got up and gone. I’m still really tired - just resorted to some painkillers which I try not to take.
I dropped my false tooth in at the dentist this morning after breaking it last week....one advantage of wearing masks nobody sees it is missing 👍 it’s about a 15 minute walk but I jumped in the car as I was tired. Hopefully it’ll be ready tomorrow and I don’t think there’s a charge for a straight forward repair. It seems a long time since I visited the dentist.....which is good but I do wonder if anything is brewing since there are no routine check ups atm.

It's funny but we mentioned this morning that with Covid it has been a couple of years now since either of us has had a dentist check up.

Hopefully no surprises when we next go!!
