So which side of the chair looks best. It’s taking a while as I can only do a bit at a time but I’m getting there. 1 back panel on this chair then 2 on the other. Then use some leather dye on the leather seats and revamped for £15....better than buying new chairs 😀😀

I know Izzy. It’s so frustrating when we want to do things but haven’t got the same ooomph as we had previously 😳🤪😂
Excited 👍😀😀😀😀👍 Dh has just ordered me my mini greenhouse....I was just browsing Pinterest for ideas as you do when an Aldi advert popped up. It looks exactly the same as the one I saw in Wilco and is £6 cheaper 👍👍 I’d love a big one but we just don’t have the room.

It’s just a pity there wasn’t better material on the backs and sides of the chairs in the first place. I hadn’t realised just how bad they looked until I saw  the old material next to the new black material 😳😳 If you were to inspect closely the stitching is awful but I’ll hopefully get another couple of years out of them. I tried to do a bit more this afternoon but my arm was sore so had to stop.
Had a bit of a lazy day as I’ve been tired...couldn’t settle to much so have spent far too much time mooching on the computer.

OBL I love decorating and am quite gutted I’ve had to give in and get somebody in. It’s a friend who gives us very good mates rates who has done ours. In return I’ve made their wedding cake and various special birthday cakes over the years and dh looks after their computer. So win win really. My dad was a painter and decorator and  i was his ‘gofor’ from being tiny. The smell of paint just takes me back to him.
I’ve asked the builder who was here yesterday to level off some flags outside. I’d asked his boss last year but nothing has happened yet. Hopefully he’ll come back with a reasonable quote and I can make my little shady nook I wanted last year fairly soon. I’d seen a mini greenhouse in Wilko which was lovely. It was a bargain too about £50 cheaper than any others I’d seen....£60 and it was wooden and quite cute. Which is why they were probably sold out 😏 I’ve asked to be contacted when they have them back in stock. This will stand on my old dining room table which I’ll paint in grey outside paint. Dh can store his stones and things he needs for the railway under the table and I can do a bit of potting above. Then a screen with fairy lights and on the opposite side of the screen my shady nook.....I’ll also paint an old shelving unit and put some big lanterns with solar lights inside. I already have the lanterns just need the lights.....that’s the plan anyway. I’d love it to be a little arbour but it’s a tiny space and budgets can get silly for things like that. So thinking cap and MSE is the way to go once it’s been levelled. But first I need to finish my chairs and make bunting 😂😂😂 People keep asking me if I’m bored off work - NO.....but I do miss the people.
That sounds lovely for the garden,I know exactly which little greenhouse you are on about,I was looking at it last week 😀I normally love decorating but have seriously lost my mojo, I think part of it is just this house. I have a definite love hate relationship with this house,I've tried all sorts since I've lived here to make it feel right but somehow it never does. There's nothing actually wrong that won't be easily  remedied when I have the jobs done that I've got planned, I think it's just that I have bad memories of living here and I moved from a brand new house to a 60s terrace which was a mistake I will regret forever. My ideal would be to move to another new house but that's not going to happen so I need to get on with making this one look better

OBL it most probably will be the memories you have in the house. Hopefully you will feel differently when it’s how you want it. Sounds as if you have great plans 👍 I’m thinking the loss of mojo is because you still feel rough.
